We stayed two nights at the Brass Lantern Inn and really enjoyed it. Very warm and charming, and fun art on the walls to explore. Don checked us in and was incredibly welcoming and friendly, double checking any dietary needs and offered suggestions for restaurants in the area. The room was clean with a lot of charm. Both mornings, the breakfasts were delicious and was easily able to accommodate gluten free and a slightly earlier breakfast for us with notice. The coffee was amazing! I would absolutely go back!

Property's Favourite Review
We were in Stowe for a weekend event. This place was so comfortable in every way. It had an overall welcoming laid back feel along with everything we needed. Spacious, nicely arranged room #2 had a very comfortable bed. 😴 Common areas (several) were also spacious and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic served in a bright room with a view. Self serve coffee, tea & espresso were available 24 hours. Grocery store hidden from view but conveniently right next door. Very close to in-town, walkable.

What a beautiful place. And, more importantly-it was quiet, it was peaceful, the beds are comfortable and the food was delicious. All the extra touches you hope for and lovely people. We will be back!

We had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights and it was absolutely wonderful, the staff and accommodations could not have been better. We stayed in the Mt. Mansfield room and it was comfortable and cozy, especailly with the fireplace being used morning and night as it was quite cool. Breakfast was awesome and it provided us with a great start to our days of hiking in the mountains. We will be sure to revisit the Brass Lantern Inn on our next Stowe visit which is already in the planning stages. Thanks to the entire staff for welcoming us with open arms.

We regrettably only got to stay 1 night at this quaint bed & breakfast. The room was clean and had an amazing view of the mountain. The Owners/staff were super informative on the area restaurants/ shops/ sugar houses/ activities and made the most amazing french toast and bacon breakfast! The baked treats and coffee were excellent also! It was the most enjoyable and relaxing stop on our trip and they really pay attention to the details. Thank You for a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely be back!!! Patrick & Leslie

We had a great 2-night stay at the Inn. Comfortable bed, great service, good views, tasty breakfasts and baked afternoon treats, Don was very accommodating with food allergy requests. Being close to the Stowe pulse made it easy to enjoy the town's atmosphere and shops. Kudos to Don, Andrew and Kim for making our first visit to the area so enjoyable. We'll be back!

Only stayed 2 nights but that was enough to settle in and feel at home. Beautiful property great views and a lot of new furnishings. Classy but unpretentious. Our hosts went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and provided us with great local recommendations for dinner and shops. Best of all was the breakfast. Fresh local produce... beautifully presented. Highly recommend... Thanks!!

We hope to go back after renovations are done by the new owners, Don and Andrew. The location of the Inn was great. Some of the rooms need updates including the one we stayed in. Others were already updated. The views of the mountain are special during sunset. Our daily breakfast at the Inn was delightful and service was outstanding. Don was an exceptional host, while their manager Kim provided great info and ideas. The outstanding service makes me want to come back.

Thank you for your kind review and appreciation of us as hosts! Yes, the inn has many updates that need to be done, and we are chipping away at the list. Its one of the charms of an old building! We look forward to you staying with us again, and hope you like the updates we make!

We were only able to stay one day due to our travel plans (wished we could have stayed at least another day). Living areas were very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Also one of the living areas had a large refrigerator for guests to use. Hosts were terrific, friendly and responsive. Our upstairs room was perfect with a picturesque view of the ski mountain. We were served biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast. It was just the way we like it with lots of sausage, really good. Shortly after our late afternoon arrival, a fresh blueberry snack cake was provided in the dining room for guests... it was warm and tasted wonderful. To us the Inn truly set the standard for what one should expect from a bed and breakfast. Also, great wifi throughout the inn.
