Wonderfully warm and welcoming! Mary Anne and George are so good at what they do. They are full of knowledge about the Stowe area and can give you plenty of suggestions about restaurants and things to do. They were spot on every time. The food is amazing, from the afternoon snacks to the killer breakfasts! The in itself is beautiful,...

Thank you for your stay and this gift of a review. So glad to know that you enjoyed your experiences here in Stowe and the surrounding area. We tend to live vicariously through our guests, especially during our busy times such as this late winter season, so it was just as fun for us to hear of your adventures. You...

What a charming place to stay in Stowe VT. It was welcoming and George & MaryAnne made you feel right at home. There were fresh baked cookies, a fire to keep you warm, cozy couches and lots of room to move around. Breakfast was fresh each morning and plentiful. It was nice to see the views of the mountain. In...

Thank you for your stay, these kind words and that headline. It is our primary mission to provide our guests with a sense of home, away from home. So glad to know that we hit the mark here with you. And the views, yes, that is actually convinced us to begin this adventure as Innkeepers here in Vermont. Never tire...

The whole experience is great. So many little details keep making you smile. No TV in the room we had, but why would you need a TV when you're in Vermont. Location is great too, and the food is genuinely tasty and fresh. Loved it and only place we will stay in when in Stowe.

Thank you for your stay, and these very kind words for others to consider when considering us for their home base here in Stowe! It was a pleasure hosting you and appreciate your recognition of those details, especially, those that we work to provide as part of your stay. We agree on the tv... though, we do have them in...

My husband and I had the unusual opportunity to get away for the weekend and chose a place only 45 minutes from our home. The Brass Lantern was very well maintained, clean and comfortable. Innkeepers, Mary Ann and George, are very friendly and seem to really enjoy their jobs. Mary Ann knows the area so well and enjoys recommending restaurants...

Always a special treat to host our Vermont neighbors for a staycation! Thank you for your stay, on this side of Mt. Mansfield, and for your very kind recommendations and comments on our behalf. So glad to read that you enjoyed your time away in Stowe. We do have some of the best restaurants in Vermont, New England (with all...

Recently stayed at the Brass Lantern B & B Inn in beautiful Stowe, VT!!! From the moment we walked through the front door, innkeepers George & MaryAnn treated us like family! Such genuine warmth and care; remembered every single guests first name; their likes and dislikes; acted as personal travel agents (so very knowledgeable about all Vermont has to offer!);...

A truly lovely Inn. Comfortable and cozy from the moment you arrive. Our room had a great view of the mountain and the fireplace kept us toasty and warm. Breakfast was outstanding!! I read lots of reviews about the bacon and it did not disappoint!! None of the breakfast did! George and Mary Ann have mastered the bed and breakfast!!

We loved our stay at the Inn and meeting George and Mary Ann. Everything was perfect. The cozy common area with warm fire. The hot tub was great after skiing. Storage for my craft beer purchases. Would definitely visit again. The breakfasts were spectacular! I don't know why we said goodbye but we'll say hello again!

Thank you very much. It was truly a pleasure hosting you and of course helping you secure a cool space to store your craft beverages. Tempting as it was.... sitting there all quiet in the basement! Hope we can hold you to your plans to visit us again. Kindest Regards, George and Mary Anne

We loved the Brass Lantern Inn for our romantic weekend getaway. Our room was tastefully decorated in traditional colonial style and breakfast (included in the room rate) was fantastic. Our favourite part of the trip was watching the hummingbirds come to eat nectar right outside the dining room windows and we also enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The...

We very much appreciate your stay and your recommendations here to others considering a stay at the Brass Lantern Inn. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to be the latest stewards of this amazing, historic Inn (former farmhouse). As you note, with the solid brick construction and recent installed new, insulated windows we think we have a great place...

I have reviewed the Brass Lantern Inn several times now because my wife and I fell in love with it and have become friends of the owners Mary Anne and George. This may be a repeat comment, but in terms of natural occupations, Mary Anne and George were born to be innkeepers. Brass Lantern offers everything you would expect for...
