Edson Hill was truly a hidden gem. Our deluxe King room, that had been recently renovated, was done with exquisite rustic taste . Room was very spacious and had a large working fireplace that we used all day long. They had great hiking trails through the woods to down to the pond and horse stables. Yes, their 3 friendly horses...

Romantic, ambiance and wonderful food to boot. The swordfish and burger had a special twist, but the donut and cheese cake desserts were incredible. All seatings have outstanding views over a horse farm.

We made a two week road trip to New England from the midwest with the intention to simply explore and learn to know New England better. We intentionally decided to stay away from busy, traveled hotels and touristy type stops and look for hotels and Inns off the beaten path, hopefully giving us a more authentic New England country experience....

The staff here is so helpful; you can tell Jesse loves his work. We emailed that we might be arriving earlier than check in, and our room was ready and waiting. The rooms have been recently redone; the bathrooms are nice, the rooms very comfortable, with a big fireplace. We did think the bed, tho comfy, was almost impossible to...

If you are looking for a lovely, quiet setting in the VT countryside, this is it. Loved the décor and the bar on the lower level is beyond cool. The host who greeted us when we arrived was very attentive. The only reason this review is not a 5 is because the service in the restaurant was not great, although...

We are not B&B people however if B&B's are like Edson Hill we will always choose them first. Our room was a cute cottage with a great fireplace carefully stocked with wood that had this wonderful crackle when lit. The room was well decorated with everything fresh and new. The designer did an excellent job bringing a stylish feel combined...

This was our second trip to Edson Hill. Last year we discovered this very special place tucked in the mountain a few miles above Stowe. You enter on a winding gravel road which wraps around a tiny pond surrounded by grazing horses. The Inn is up a slight incline and blends into the foliage of the forest. We stayed in...

My husband had a little get away here in September. We stayed in a guest house with a fire place and soaking tub. It was truly the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in. The accommodations were perfect. Incredibly clean. Housekeeping was top notch every day. Staff was always very friendly. The breakfast provided with our stay was excellent...

The place is flat out gorgeous. Designed perfectly. Lovely furnishings, fixtures, textiles. All spot on. The service behind this design pretty was kind of lacking, however. Front desk great-but kitchen and service staff about a 3. Biggest issue was that the lovely but non- ac rooms had zero cross-ventilation. Despite a refreshingly cool night, our room stayed hot and stuffy,...

My husband and I loved Edson Hill! Grounds are simply beautiful with stunning views. Our room was well appointed and private. The bathroom was great with heated floors and a large all glass shower. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. We had breakfast on the veranda overlooking the Vermont mountains and on site pool and swimming pond. Lots of...
