This B&B comes as advertised except it is much better in real life than in photos. The room was okay, unfortunately hot with the heat wave but it is hard to find a better view in the area for a sunny, morning breakfast on the large deck. The Lake Champlain islands are a nice, quiet setting; we enjoyed a drink on the Steamship pier bar in North Hero at sunset and it was convenient catching the short ferry ride across to Plattsburgh, NY for our return home.

Very nice family and beautiful setting didn't make up for the disappointment of accommodations. Coffee not accessible until 8:15am and breakfast after 9:30am. We also were staying in the family home where most of its access were off limits; didn't feel that comfortable. Also no shower; only a bathtub. Will be staying elsewhere next time. 😕

Beautiful setting on Lake Champlain‼️ Rustic construction adorned with antiques ‼️ Meticulously maintained ‼️Sumptuous breakfast made to order‼️ We love antiques but would have preferred a queen size bed and TV in the room‼️ Sit on the deck with a bottle of wine and enjoy the scenery and wildlife‼️

We have never stayed in a bed-and-breakfast before. We needed to check in early and were told no one is going to be around till 9 PM but they made other arrangements and we are allowed to come anytime we wanted to. The room was clean and comfortable in the entire house was sitting in a beautiful location overlooking Lake Champlain. The host and hostess were very warm and inviting and made us feel right at home. The breakfast the next morning was far beyond what we expected. We would highly recommend the Fearn Lodge to anyone visiting the lake Champlain area.

What a beautiful house with a couple who are passionate about providing a wonderful experience to their guests! The highlight of the stay was the host's (Todd) home brewed beer. Breakfast on the deck (overlooking the lake) was a great experience. My wife enjoyed the claw foot bathtub in the room. We stayed in the Victorian room and the bed was a bit mushy - I recommend them to replace it as soon as possible - that will make it a 5 star place!

Hosts Gina and Todd and their 3 beautiful daughters welcomed us and friends who came to visit during our 4 night stay. The room and main house are lovely and the grounds are magical. In our strolls through the grounds we discovered a number of oases ... gorgeous sitting areas nestled into the cliff overlooking Lake Champlain. Also spots overlooking the grounds with lovely gardens and horse pasture. Our hosts freely shared their spacious lakeside deck with us. We enjoyed watching Todd home- brewing on the deck and were treated to samples of his exquisite brews. On our last night there we amazed by the sight of Todd barefoot skiing on the lake! What a show! This is a perfect get away spot. You will love the breakfasts served on the lakeside deck and the peace that pervades every inch of this place. It is truly special.
