The beds were super comfortable and it was very quiet. The breakfast were amazing and gourmet food! The staff were very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to make our group comfortable. The website does not indicate it but they have a fitness room, indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub.
I am a semi-retired physician doing consulting work. I acquired COVID 19 during my current business trip to Burlington despite being vaccinated (Tier1A) and continuing with mask (appropriately fitted surgical mask as well as N95 in airports, planes etc) and social distancing (even in locations without mask requirements). Discussions with Health department etc indicate source of acquisition will likley be untraceable. Delta is a tricky little virus! This infection is a BEAR! I am generally healthy except for my age (67) but it has kicked my tuckus big time. I have 6 days left in isolation. Fortunately, during the past 4 days, the staff at Homewood Suites has been outstanding. Helpful, respectfull and prompt with needed linens, towels and miscellaneous kitchen supplies at all time. I am very relieved and thankful for the assistance from this staff. I cannot thank them enough.…
I have stayed here twice now (including for 2 weeks straight back in the beginning of May) and have to say it’s one of the best Long stay hotels I have ever stayed in. The breakfasts in the morning everyday are very good. The premade omelettes are the only “low point” if you can call it that. they are just a little dry for my taste and don’t sell fast enough for them to be fresh throughout the morning. The desk staff is wonderful and I haven’t spent more than 10 total minutes between two stays at the front as the staff gets you signed in and your room key right away. I would love for an update to the same washer and dryers as one dryer is newer than the other and the older one has a SIGNIFICANTLY LONGER time to dry your clothes. But at this point I’m knit picking. The hotel is within a two mile walk of downtown both sides. You can get to the lake park within 3 miles walk (and the walk is very easy and nice) and going the other way into Williston gives you plenty of food places and shopping within 2 miles. There is at least three different grocery stores within a mile. The hotels rooms are clean and the large windows can be opened to give fresh air at all times. The elevator is a little nerve wracking as they recommend only 3 people on it at once which worries me at times. But it’s a quite hotel so unless you come back with your whole work team, not often do you share the elevator. I think this hotel is WELL worth the stay here. I have stayed in rooms 407 and 406 and prefer the 407 view as it faces away from the busy road but the lights aren’t an issue either side as the blackout curtains are beyond efficient in blocking out even the direct sunlight mid day! The fitness room and pool are clean and the walking paths around the hotel are plentiful. Stay Here!…
I just loved this hotel. The breakfast was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. It’s walking distance to many things. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area. Plus there’s a fridge and kitchen which I didn’t have time to use but also a fantastic option
I have stayed at this Homewood Suites for business related travel. John the manager is excellent. The morning breakfast and Wednesday night social always have great food. The selection is wide and the food is not the same every morning. The rooms are clean and spacious. Noise level is never an issue. Recommend staying here for business or pleasure. In walking distance of several shops and grocery stores. One will have to drive to the famous Church Street or uber or lyft it, but not far. Not far from airport or hospital.
Just had a great hotel stay at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Burlington. Went there with my husband, son, parents, and in-laws for my oldest son’s college graduation. We got three rooms, checking in at all different times with one set of parents flying in to the nearby Burlington airport and another driving up from Massachusetts. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, giving every new arrival attention along with waters and snacks because we were Hilton Honors members. In addition, because it was graduation weekend, there were cupcakes when we arrived back one afternoon with my sons college colors on them and drinks and trail mix another afternoon which made us feel so taken care of on a weekend that involved a lot of running around. We had a pool to stick our feet in even though we forgot our bathing suits at home and a breezy courtyard hung with strings of lights to hang out in in the evenings. The rooms are two bedroom suites with kitchens that include full-size refrigerators, a nice surprise after staying in so many hotels that offer only mini fridges. The bathrooms also have the sinks outside of the area where the shower and toilet are, something we really appreciated. Breakfast is served from 7am-11am on weekends and offerings included make-your-own-waffles, oatmeal, homemade muffins, eggs and a specialty dish each morning along with juice, coffee and hot chocolate which made pleasing everyone very easy. And all weekend, there was always a staff person at the desk with a smile ready to help if any issues came up and ready to wish us a good day or welcome back. We are sad to have discovered this wonderful hotel just as my son finishes school but hope we can help others to discover it now.…
We stayed in this hotel for an admitted student day at UVM. The hotel is located very close to campus. It is reasonably clean. There was no maid service during our visit. There were three people on my reservation, but only two towels were in the room. I called down to housekeeping - no answer. Front desk - no answer. Went to the front desk - no one was there. Used my cell phone to call as if I were outside the hotel, and I was able to get two additional towels. There was a large brown stain on one couch cushion. The linens for the pullout were pilled and well-used. The breakfast was okay, but I would have been really disappointed if I had paid for it. If not for the proximity to the university, I would not stay here again.
Super nice and friendly folks. Clean rooms with nice amenities. Only suggestions are 1) better pillow options and 2) fix the broken dryer (the only one) on site. The managers special on Wednesday was generous with soup, salad, cheese, crackers and hummus along with beer and wine. The breakfasts had homemade casseroles and muffins along with many other selections. Delicious!
I discovered this property exactly two years ago when we visited UVM for admitted students day. Since then, we have stayed here multiple times while visiting our kids. The proximity to the school and downtown Burlington is ideal. The customer service is always exceptional, the rooms are always clean, and they offer a nice breakfast. The rooms are spacious with kitchenettes that come in handy. This is by far my preferred hotel to stay in the area. I highly recommend the property.
If you’re going to be in Burlington, I recommend staying here. The rooms are great. It’s quiet. The staff is incredible. The location is great, close to restaurants, stores and easy access to the freeway. And they have an incredible breakfast each morning!
