The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. This has to be what has kept it in business this long, I believe the hotel is at least 30 years old. The outside is a bit deceiving, as the outside looks like it has been maintained. However, it appeared little money has been spent to upgrade the...

Stayed here when visiting UVM's campus last weekend. Just needed a cheap room to spend one night, so this fit the bill. Check in was very easy and the location was 8 minutes away from campus, which was great. Free wifi and breakfast in the morning (cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice). Wouldn't stay here for a longer stay in Burlington,...

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Terrible smell, dirty, old, hairs in bathtub that would not fill as there was means to plug the drain, no hair dryers in room but available at front desk ( no mention of this at check-in). At midnight while asleep, my fire alarm went off as my heater began to overheat and smoke....

This place is dated, minimally clean, and definitely not handicap accessible. Carpet was stained, bathroom looked like the crew always missed the corners, the continental breakfast was barely there. Would not stay at Anchorage Inn again. Too many better hotels in Portland.

This was by FAR there worst place I've ever stayed! Found mold in the shower, not to mention that it clogged up when I took a shower. The T.V was from the '80's- one of those panasonic ones. Horrible.

This is the second time we have stayed here and I thought it couldn't be worse than the last time, but yes it has. This Inn is outdated, and needs a total overhaul. This trip it stank, the odor in hallways was undefinable, and the rooms while clean, had the smell of mildew or something. The bathroom was fading peeling...

Little annoying things - like moldy , smelly air conditioner, little nicks and scratches and dark marks on everything. You thing it is not clean but it turns out to be stain or discoloration. Cheap doors that don't shut, stained rugs, cheap curtains held together with pins, one shower curtain clip missing (the all important last one). Towel with a...

First, we were there early august. pay by credit card. by august 20, my credit card company called and asked about fraudulous transactions to my account. They don't know who it was, not necessarely the last transaction. I called my friend. No problem with hers. But...

The Anchorage Inn was clean, had large room, was quiet and cheap. as others said, it needs a facelift but for the time spent in the room, it didn't bother us. don't expect much of the breakfast (wrapped donuts, coffee and cereals). go to henry's diner for a good one!!!

Let me first say I rarely go online and vent about experiences at hotels, restaurants, etc but this hotel has driven me to. First, they do an immaculate job of staging a room on their sight as the carpet is not frayed or stained and the marks on the wall are hid very well. This was probably my worst experience...
