We were visiting our son in Burlington Vermont. I looked over many hotels. This one had a price drop and it's amenities were family friendly. I was pleasantly surprised. It was accessible to resturants and stores.Great adult happy hour and free breakfast with serving staff. Large room for family of 4. Kitchenette and living area. Outside courtyard. Indoor pool. Friendly professional staff.Free parking.
It is a standard hotel on a very loud and busy road.. the website states you will experience the charm of a boutique of Vermont Country Inn… not the case at all. The room was clean, breakfast was fair (again website made it seem to be better than it was) . Asked for towel sets, no washcloths were available… the windows had wooden blinds but the curtains so not close so our room was bright at 530-6am… the traffic is LOUD..
Bel hôtel, bien placé, un beau studio avec une chambre fermée, cuisine, salon, acceptant les chiens. Happy hours et petit déjeuner compris dans le prix. mai relativement cher pour la catégorie d'hôtel, 345$ la nuit.
One of the key things for business travelers is to get a good night's sleep. Many factors go into that but usually one of the most important things is noise. At 10:00 o'clock there was a very loud group around the fire pit laughing and talking. They were a good 50ft. from my room window (that was closed) I figured that shortly after they would disband at 11:00 o'clock they got louder, literally yelling and screaming and singing songs or should I say yelling songs as loud as they could. I figured they would stop shortly so I watched the news on TV and tried to settle but at 11:45 I called the front desk to see if they could have them quiet down. That seemed to work for a while. But at 12:15 they kept getting louder at 12:30 the singing started again finally at 12:45 I called the front desk again and asked to be moved to another room. They apologized and said that they would try to get them to quiet down again. At 1:00 AM they seemed to disband and finally table I could get to sleep. When I checked out the following morning they asked how my stay was I explained what had happened and the desk person apologized and said that it was unfortunate my stay wasn't better. That was it no reduction in rate no discount to try them again nothing. Again if you're in the area for business I would suggest any other option but if you want a party place, or you are on a spring break, I guess this is the place to do it.…
Cleanliness was mediocre at best. Hallway carpet was dirty, found 1/2 an egg roll left behind under the kitchen sink. First floor window screen was popped out and there were hand prints on the window outside. Obviously somebody attempted to get in through the window. Bedroom drapes only cover 2/3 of the window, woke up with the sun shining in each morning at 5:30. Front desk was unapologetic and non responsive. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Stayed here for a couple of nights while in town for the Vermont Marathon. Check-in was quick and easy and we were booked into a two-room "suite" in the adjacent building. The room was simple but checked off the boxes. We had a fireplace that we didn't use (80+ degrees out), a barely passable sofa bed for my daughter, and a full kitchenette with a toaster, dishwasher, plates, utensils, etc. that got more use than I had anticipated. The main bedroom was fine; nothing spectacular but a solid bed and double doors for some privacy. The A/C in the room was inconsistent. Seemed to be one of those places that blasted for a bit, turned off for a bit, then blasted again. The shower was bizarre and tucked behind a wall with no light. Very strange setup. We used the pool a couple of times. Our first trip was wonderful. Warm, clean water and a hot tub that was functioning perfectly. The next day, we returned to use the pool and found the hot tub overflowing with barely warm water and the pool quite dirty (this was after the 2-3 pm "cleaning). There was also a hose blasting freezing water into the pool while it was in use. We did the comp breakfast before leaving and it was very good. They did bacon, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, and frittatas in addition to the typical cereal, oatmeal, etc. It was much more than I had expected. Overall, this was a very good value and more than served its purpose although I have to admit I was slightly underwhelmed considering the photos and glowing reviews.…
This suite hotel is nice and clean and conveniently located. Although the first room they put us in had not been cleaned. I think from the photos I was expecting somewhere less "suburban", more quaint. But it was fine. Convenient to the Trader Joe's and downtown Burlington. The free breakfast and happy hour are a nice perk. The scrambled eggs were so salty, we couldn't eat them but everything else was fine. Be warned, they don't clean the rooms or even restock them every day. I feel like they should tell guests this when they check in. It was kinda odd to have to go to the front desk for toilet paper. I guess for the price I was expecting a bit more.
This hotel was a great find. The one bedroom suite was perfect for us. It was great having a kitchenette, table, and even a fireplace! Breakfasts were great! On weekdays, they offer dinner and free drinks (Vermont beers and California wines). I appreciated that even as a vegan, I could find something to snack on! The lobby area was a nice area to relax in with huge fireplaces. My kids loved the pool and the hot tub was nice. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.
We stayed for several days while touring the area. The location is close to U Vermont and a <1 hour drive to local ski resorts. The hotel staff are friendly. Our suite was spacious and clean. Breakfast and dinner (M-Th) are included.
This is a great hotel. Clean quiet rooms. Great breakfast. Complimentary Dinner on weekdays. Super nice staff. This will definite our hotel of choice in Burlington. Family and dog friendly. Nice indoor pool. Superb location
