Brought the holiday up to our daughter & her friend who are Midd students. So glad we found this place! Cozy cabins, immaculately clean, well-stocked & comfortable! What a great place! We wouldn't hesitate to come again. Super nice owners & lots of thoughtful little touches! It's also my son's birthday & we had an awesome time here just relaxing,...

My husband and I had a short “mini-moon” here immediately after our wedding in early October 2016. Carol and Marty made us feel so welcome and special from the start, bringing us a beautiful little basket with champagne and candles, and even changing the marquee on the entrance road to say, “Congrats Kate and Evan.” We were so touched by...

This was our fourth time staying at Carol and Marty's oasis at the foot of Robert Frost Mountain. Our favorite cozy cabin, Serene Outlook # 4, is fully equipped with everything you need for a cozy weekend in very rural Vermont. Marty and Carol are always so accessible and kind and treat all of their guests like family, including the...

My wife and I headed up to the Robert Frost Cabins after seeing them highlighted on NH Chronicle and we couldn't have been anymore pleased. The location was fantastic for a secluded romantic getaway with historic Middlebury just a few miles away. Carol and Marty have truly thought of everything to make your stay effortless. The kitchen was stocked with...

This was our 3rd visit to the Robert Frost Mountain Cabins. Clearly we love it here!! We were in town for Midd Family Weekend again. This time we were in Cabin 2 and were so happy with our lovely views of the mountains and meadow. We particularly loved the huge screened in porch and we spent a lot of time...

Thanks so much for staying with us again. And thanks, in particular, for your comments about the beds. We actually upgraded the beds recently. They seem to be a hit. Be well, until we meet again!

We had a most wonderful stay in the Owl Cabin last week. Carol and Marty have thought of everything; the kitchen was extremely well equipped, the towels were thick and plentiful, the bed was comfortable and the fireplace cozy warm. Some cabins had a beautiful view of the mountains, I loved the feeling of being in the forest as our...

We went over the App Pass coming from northern NH and thought we would never get there, but the Garmin took us straight there. Wonderful location, excellent site planning, very attractive cabin construction and great support systems (even back-up power generator), including Wifi access. Cool game room at the lodge, free firewood for campfire and marshmallow roasting, free laundry with...

We're so glad that you easily found your way through the back roads of New Hampshire and Vermont to our cabins and we hope that you enjoyed the scenery along the way - especially from the top of the Appalachian Gap.

My girlfriend and I recently visited the Mountain Cabins and the stay was fantastic. Between the quite location with a fabulous view and lots of fresh fruit for picking along the trails which started right behind our cabin. An added perk to the location was we were able to visit a lot of Vermont without a lot of traveling. Our...

It's so nice to hear that you enjoyed all that our property offers and all that we try to do to make you feel at home. The delivery of the cinnamon twists on the first morning of our guests' stay has become a tradition. And during berry season Carol's kitchen sometimes overflows with muffins and other goodies (to our guests...

The log cabin was fully equipped, clean and very comfortable. The setting was great, in the woods, with walks available directly from the cabin, although this did mean that it tended to remain in the shade. The main building had games, books, equipment and a lounge area. We could also pick fruit from the garden. A camp fire was lit...

Thank you to our new Parisian friends for such a nice review! We're glad that you liked our woodsy Cabin #5 - Owl's Branch. When you return for another stay, we'd love to have you also experience the sunrise over the mountains from one of our cabins on the meadow.
