Couldn't lock the door or even close it for that matter. When asking the owner about it, got an attitude. She took it personally because we wanted to be able to lock the door with our bekongings in the room. Place looks llike something out of a Friday the 13th flick. Unkempt property. No one was there to greet us...

The place was very close to Norwich University which was perfect for us since we went up there for the open house. The cabin was dated but clean we liked the fireplace and the fact that it had a full kitchen. If our son goes to Norwich we will stay here again. The owners of the cabins were very friendly...

Great food, fun pub, gracious hospitality. My group stayed here for a corporate retreat and I loved it. Helpful information guides to alert the traveler to local sights. We stayed during the early fall and the grounds were just beautiful with the changing leaves. Cozy. Good water pressure.

We have a large family and visit our son at Norwich. The Woods have large accommodating rooms with comfortable beds and linens. The yard has a fire pit and chairs to relax and the restaurant and lounge area are very comfortable.

This is a great escape to the woods--very quiet and peaceful. The room was eclectic and rustic. Great location to visit a cadet at Norwich University. It was a little odd that we never saw the owners or any other people the entire trip.

We found the cottage by chance and we are very happy with the privacy and clean rooms. We plan on returning again next spring and we found the owner to be friendly with quick response to any questions

When you get to the Woods Lodge it will seem as thou you are far off in the country side but it is very cozy. I recommend a nice jog in the morning getting to see the river next to the road is a beautiful experience.

We loved thebeautiful gardens and relaxing setting. We especially enjoyed the nearby hike to the waterfall. The lodge we stayed in was very spacious and had a lot of great amenities for family vacations. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating! Thank you for having our family!
