Up for a quick business trip and chose this property because of the in town location and ability walk to near by restaurants, etc... The common rooms are very nice and welcoming and the porch made me wish I had time to sit an enjoy it more. Our room was very clean and the king bed very comfortable. There were...

Very easy to walk around Montpelier...this inn is clean and friendly, breakfast was simple but adequate...we needed a room with 2 twins and this was not a problem. Would stay again which is my best review!

We stayed one night at the Inn. John is a cordial host who made us feel at home from the start. We sampled the homemade cookies with late afternoon coffee before heading off to a restaurant that was within walking distance. Because of occasional rain, John offered us an umbrella, but we ended up driving. He had plenty of menus...

This large inn is quiet, furnished in old American/English antique style, and provides an ample breakfast. The innkeeper is very obliging and cheerful. There are books throughout, but our room had a large screen TV. All the amenities were available; this isn't old-fashioned roughing it!

I stayed at the Inn at Montpelier on business but I have fallen in love with the place and will be back for pleasure as well as return business trips in the near future. I'm an attorney living in another part of Vermont, and with a two-day trial in Montpelier in winter I didn't want to drive back and forth...

My wife and I stayed at the Inn back in November and had an amazing time. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. We loved how the Inn was very historic - it made us feel like we were going back in time! Highly recommend a stay at the Inn at Montpelier for anyone looking...

We were looking forward to staying at this inn but came away disappointed. The staff upon arrival and departure seemed indifferent and just going through the motions. Our room was really disappointing in that the bed wasn't that comfortable and the shower had hardly any water pressure. The breakfast was a continental one which was OK, but for the rate...

I rate this as poor because the bed was horrible and the cost of the room was excessive for what was received. They probably can charge these rates because a few blocks from downtown and not many places to stay. Having said this, the Inn was full and other guests seemed pleased. It is well maintained and the staff was...

We enjoyed our stay here. Our room was in the "White House" next door to the main building. In the early evening, we sat on the porch to play backgammon and watch the world go by. The room was small, but comfortable. Breakfast was tasty - great yogurt and breads. Loved the eggs!! Although the room was small, there are...

Inn at Montpelier is in a beautiful and well-maintained facility near town. Because it is a few blocks outside the main shopping area, it is quiet and secluded. Yet, you are within easy walking distance of all Montpelier's restaurants, entertainment and shopping venues. They offer free off-street parking, free WIFI and breakfast is included in the price. The service was...
