We stayed here for three nights last week. I learned the name of Joe's wife(Anna Marie) by reading other trip advisor reviews and not by any introductions made by them. I believe that we actually saw her twice during our three night stay. Other people may have been greeted with warm tea and/or cookies etc., but we weren't. I do...

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that we could not provide for your visit the den with the fireplace that is usually available for guests to sit and read, visit with each other, etc. Joe Dixon, the co owner with Ann-Marie Dixon, is currently recovering from knee replacement surgery and Doctor's Orders are that he needs to be...

Where to start. This is a "regular" fairly new house. There is nothing that makes it an inn. My husband and I and another couple spent one night here. There is no common gathering space for the guests. The owners living room is blocked off for their personal use, so we had to spend the evening on the third floor...

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you feel you had a bad experience. When the 4 of you checked in you had been through rain on your motorcycles and asked if you could use our dryer to dry your wet clothes. We responded yes and that we could do that for you as soon as we finished an...

We arrived at the High Hill Inn, never having stayed at a B&B before. We were blown away by the views and the hospitality of Joe and Ann-Marie. We stayed in the Mountain View King room - the views were breathtaking, the bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was well decorated. The breakfast was amazing and we never left hungry!...

We were warmly greeted by Ann-Marie, the owner and made instantly welcome with a cup of tea and cookies. This is a lovely house in an outstanding position with stunning views (though rather remote, but with sat nav it's not a problem). We'd love to wake up to that view very morning! The house is extremely well furnished with very...

Nestled high on a hill, as the name implies, the views are breathtaking. Fog in the morning - what an unexpected treat. Pond, goats, turkeys, chickens, horses - all the things you would expect from a true B&B. I cannot write this without mentioning the hospitality shown to my wife and me - genuine passion for what they do. A...

Joe and Anne-Marie provide true southern hospitality on their beautiful Vermont farm. Goats, horses, cats, wild turkeys and a stunning view of the Green Mountains greet you from their property. Less than 10 minutes drive from the centre of Montpelier. The guest room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. A very abundant, farm-fresh, organic breakfast awaits in the morning. I...

We stayed with Anne-Marie and Joe for one night. GPS took us right to the doorstep. Outstanding view. We had the loft room on the third floor and accommodations were more than adequate. Having stayed in many B&B's, the experience was at the top. Welcoming hosts, filling breakfast and comfortable beds. Would love to visit again and stay longer. We...

I can't say enough good things about this place and the owners, Anne-Marie and Joe. This B&B is in what we considered a perfect location, very much a country setting, but really close to town. We lucked out in that I found this place on Trip Advisor in the morning, called right away, and Anne-Marie said they had a room...

My girlfriend and I left NYC for a pot luck July 4th adventure up in Vermont - we just drove off with no plans and wound up here by accident - and what a happy accident! One of the top 3 B&B's I've experienced in my travels, easy. The only thing more amazing than this B&B - surrounded by marvelous...

My wife & I stayed in the corner room at High Hill on a visit to VT to attend a wedding in Plainville. Our room was comfortable with great views of the valley. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful with options such as French toast, eggs from the on-site free-range chickens, granola & yogurt, etc. The owners were super-friendly.
