This is a great spot for skiers, leaf peepers or just for a few days away. My husband and I came here with our dog and we all had a good time. The inn is beautiful and there's a separate building with suites that accommodates dogs. There's also a screened in gazebo where you can have breakfast with your dog or,...

So glad you discovered us! We're open year-round, so all the activities you mentioned are part of what makes a Phineas Swann stay so unforgettable. Skiing in the winter, relaxing in the cool mountain air in the summer, or leaf peeping in the fall -- are are great choices for your stay with us. We're glad you made the most...

We stayed at Phineas Swann after a long day of biking around Vermont. The inn was so comfortable and relaxing after such a hard day. Our hosts were warm and friendly. Our room, in a separate house in the rear of the property, was very quiet. Something very nice that the inn does is have snacks available around the clock...

Thank you for such a flattering review! We so enjoy the guests who come to our area in the summer to cycle, hike and enjoy the beautiful scenery here at the top of Vermont. We also appreciate that you go to enjoy the great complimentary snacks and Vermont beers we offer. We look forward to seeing you again!

My husband and I recently spent a few days at The Phineas Swann B&B Inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I had visited there before a few times during the winter and this was our first time visiting together - and also the first time visiting during the summer. It was lovely to see the inn at this time of...

Thank you so much for your kind review, and for bringing your husband back to enjoy the Phineas Swann! We love romance here, so getting a chance to help you celebrate your anniversary was a pleasure. We're so glad the food, decor and rooms were such a hit with both of you. You've been here in the winter, and now...

We travelled from Toronto to Cape Breton and stayed in eight B&B's/Inns. Some were lovely and others were standard. Phineas and Swann was neither of these. This exquisite place was outstanding. Derrick, gracious Derrick, the first impression host was warm and welcoming. The interior was charming. There was a complimentary table of goodies. The exterior was equally charming with a...

What an incredibly kind and generous review! We're so happy your found your stay so welcoming and warm. We loved having you, and appreciate how much Barb helped make your stay even more special. The Green Mountain Suite is one of our most popular, but it's worth noting we actually have *six* dog-friendly suites available for travelers -- in fact,...

We spent one night there, a Thursday night, to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. They upgraded us to the Honeymoon Suite. The Inn provides snacks and drinks in the room and in several places in the main house. I enjoyed using the outdoor hot tub. While the price is quite high it seems in line with the environment provided. The...

We're so thrilled you got to spend your 60th wedding anniversary with us. We were happy to help you celebrate your big day with us, and thank you for the compliments about our garden, hot tub, and house. We're glad you enjoyed your breakfast - next time we'll treat you to some French Toast, waffles or crepes!

We enjoyed a very nice 2 night stay in the somewhat dark but still comfortable Bull Dog Suite. We would have preferred a bit more access to fresh air as there's no cross ventilation available. But the ceiling fans and air conditioner worked fine. Breakfasts are good and bountiful. The innkeepers friendly and helpful. Us dogs are truly welcomed!

Thanks for your feedback and review! The Bulldog suite is one of our larger suites, and some guests find the privacy inviting, while others like yourself long for more windows. It's always a tough balancing act. During your next stay, consider our Green Mountain Suite. It's layout is identical to the two-bedroom Bulldog Suite, but is filled with large picture...

Derrick and Lynne were responsible for the most wonderful venue and outcome for our daughter's wedding. Their attention to detail to make this event one that her and her husband, and all that joined us, a most memorable one. They were attentive to our needs and helped us when we looked lost! Thanks for your great review of our B&B and our all-inclusive weddings. We love hosting such great events and were so happy to be a part of your great event. Thank you so much for your flattering review! We're glad you got to enjoy the Green Mountain Suite - one of our most popular rooms. We stayed for one night and found the accommodations and the locale to be pleasing. We loved the bathroom design, though we wished for some kind of hook in the shower enclosure. Thanks for the extremely kind words! We're glad you enjoyed your stay at our Trout River Suite in the River House, and I know future guests will appreciate your tips. Dog owners with stair-phobic dogs probably should chose the first-floor Black Bear Suite. That said, the new staircase is far safer and less treacherous than the old one we replaced...
