My wife and I spent three nights at this wonderful B&B and enjoyed our stay with Zelia and Gary very much. The inside of the house is a beautiful blend of old and modern--the best of both worlds! The bed and room were very comfortable. The weather was beautiful during our stay so we were able to take breakfast on...

I have been to countless B&Bs over the years and I have to say this ranks as one of the all time best. Gorgeous place. Wonderful hosts. One of the best night's sleep i've ever had in my incredibly comfortable bed. The breakfast was perfect- homemade scones, fresh strawberries and excellent omelet. Superb coffee and fresh squeezed juice. We sat...

The innkeepers have built a lovely new cottage amid the flower gardens in back of the main house. Light and airy with a Scandinavian vibe, it features a kitchenette, eating area, gas fireplace and a view down a sloping flower-filled field of Otter Creek. Complete independence and five-star comfort!

During the time our daughter has been in school in Middlebury, we've had the pleasure of staying with Gary & Zelia many times. It is always a pleasure. This is a lovely B&B. The meticulously prepared organic locally-sourced breakfasts are a treat, and each of the rooms is spacious and furnished with a elegant modern simplicity that compliments the historic...

This is the the most charming B&B we have stayed in. When we discovered On the Creek 4 years ago we immediately realized this would be our 1st choice while traveling in the Middlebury area. We have been guests of Gary & Zelia several times each year since then and have never been disappointed. This immaculately restored house is well...

My family home has been in Middlebury for over 30 years. Now my parents are in care facilities and the siblings are a bit spread out. So when my husband and I wanted to visit, it meant finding a new "home base". I started the search and came across On the Creek. This is a lovely B&B run by Gary...

Finding comfortable accommodations in Middlebury can be difficult, especially on short notice for high demand weekends. From the first stay we found this B and B to be exactly what we wanted as our "home-away-from-home" for future overnight stays. I quickly booked all my known future dates all the way through college graduation weekend. Very close to Middlebury College, always...

I like B & B's just fine, though I don't like the kind where I feel like I'm staying in someone's home and "On the Creek" felt that way to me. First off, it felt complicated making the booking, lots of emailing and back and forth. The Proprietor wanted to know when we'd be arriving on that day when I...

We stayed at On the Creek when we dropped our daughter off at the college. On the Creek is immaculate; tile floors in the bathroom and wood floors are spotless; bathroom has plenty of hooks and the rooms have lamps where you want them with good light for reading. Very comfortable beds and sheets that have the wonderful aroma of...

My daughter and I stayed at On the Creek Bed & Breakfast this past week. Zelia and Gary were terrific hosts. We arrived after a long drive in the rain and were greeted warmly with and offer of tea and biscuits. Zelia sat down with us and provided information about the area and the Middlebury College. We had a comfortable...
