Very happy to have found this family friendly Inn! Amazing breakfast (to order) included was beyond expectations,so professional yet caring, besides delicious! Very reasonable costs, helpful staff and owners. Tavern has reasonable plates and makes us feel welcomed with friendly humor. Main dining is so professional makes anniversaries memorable. Hummingbird viewing in the summer is simply beautiful!!!

This Inn was a gem. The owner Joe and his wife Pat were the highlight of our stay next to the amazing food in the restaurant. We know Switzerland very well and the Swiss dishes they served were delicious. Make sure you take the dinner package for $25.00 per person as well worth it. We will definitely return.

Lady at front desk was rude to us. She gave us a lecture on VT state law because we reserved the room for 2 people and showed up along with our son. Room is small, outdated and dingy. Not sure how this is rated a 3-star hotel, most motels are nicer than this. We could hear people casually talking in... More

Checked in to a large end room with two queen beds. Joe cannot have been nicer. Room is somewhat dated, but very comfortable and everything works perfectly. For $126 a night, it is a great deal. An outstanding experience!

The Swiss Inn is a unique, friendly, and fun place to stay - largely due its owner, Joe. Joe clearly loves his guests and especially loves regaling them with his witty stories, jokes, and commentary on practically anything. At the sit-down, made-to-order, complimentary breakfast each morning, he assists his staff in the dining room but spends most of his time... More

The owners were great and open to conversation. We enjoyed talking with them. The room was small and the outdated but clean. The bed was springy and we didn't sleep well. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner as it is not provided. Breakfast was very good.

Many of the reviews describe the Swiss Inn as worn and it is. Worse than I expected. It is an old and musty place. Everything in our room worked (we were upstairs, at the back) and it seemed clean. Furniture was sturdy but mismatched. Wallpaper was peeling, lots of "Kilz" spots in the ceiling where leaks must have been, stains... More

My wife and I recently returned from our yearly trip to southern Vermont and the Swiss Inn. The Swiss Inn actually played an important role in us becoming husband and wife...we got engaged there! That is how special a place it has become to us. We were looking for: -an inn in close proximity to the local ski areas -... More
