We stayed 2 nights for a girls weekend. The hotel is very accessible with great atmosphere. There is a small bar and restaurant on site. The views are beautiful and it was a good value for the price we paid.

First it is an older property that has not had much updating. It's located down the road from the ski area. Magic Mountain. The stairs to the second floor are steep and narrow. We'd requested a second floor room to avoid noise above us. We were upgraded to a family suite. Sounds better than it was. The rooms were separated...

My girlfriend and I, and four other couples, all spent an early-fall weekend together in Vermont, staying in the Upper Pass Lodge. The lodge could not have been a better place for our trip. We purchased living social deals. They came with two free breakfasts — which were delicious, and incorporated local ingredients — a cheese plate with wine, and...

We spent a wonderful weekend here in September. The room was large and comfortable. We had a deck which was lovely. It is pet friendly, which was wonderful. The breakfast was outstanding, as was the dinner. Vince was a great host. The location would be perfect in ski season for skiing at Magic Mountain. The wifi was no good in...

On the weekend a surprise 60th birthday party was held there for me and many of my friends and family also stayed there (10...

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend at the Upper Pass lodge last fall and it was a simply wonderful experience. The food was excellent, the service was above-and-beyond, and it was a great location. The owner and manager were very actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the business, which gave it a very homey, authentic feel. The beautiful...

As many others have shared, Vince was great! My mom and I came for the weekend through a Living Social voucher and we had a very enjoyable experience. Vince was very accommodating as well as the other staff. I really like that all the food and wine served in the onsite restaurant Red Slate are locally sourced, and delicious. We...

I've given the Upper Pass Lodge an excellent rating not because it is the most elegant and well appointed lodge in the area but because Vince, the Manager offers the best package for a hiking trip in August. Rates can not be beat. The personal services offered, the friendly and helpful staff and the private location gives my friends and...

Very well placed, just outside of town, close to nature. Looks like a beautiful ski resort, being there in August we appreciated quietness and beauty of surroundings. Great restaurant as well, very welcoming staff.
