I generally don't write negative reviews; however, if there is one thing I can't tolerate its poor customer service and heartless individuals. My 8 month old son came down with a serious illness just before my trip so I was unable to travel. Although I explained my situation to the owner (Andy) of the Hillside Inn, he refused to cancel...

We were worried a little bit before getting into the room. As everyone else said, the ladies at front desk were not the nicest to say the least. We called before to make sure we would have four sets of towels, the lady assured me, but there were three sets throughout the stay. Luckily, my loving husband brought extra for...

This was the start of our trip around New England after driving up from New York. We arrived really late but had arranged in advance and we had no trouble getting checked in. The room was spacious and was perfect for the night we stayed. This is a great base for lovely scenic drives around Vermont. Good value for the...

We are often looking for a place to stay to cut our drive to Maine in half. Central Vermont is a great halfway location so we booked a room at the hillside. The price was more than reasonable. We arrived late Friday night but they greeted us with hospitality and we were quickly in our room. The room was spacious...

This is certainly not a fancy hotel, but if your looking for a decent clean place to stay for the night it is perfect. Had a fridge and microwave, nice shower and a decent bed. Nothing to really complain about for the money.

If you like a dirty room with mystery stains on the walls, pubic hair on the toilet, a hot room with the inability to cool since there is no thermostat, and water that is room temperature for the shower, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, I suggest you look elsewhere.

I stayed there for one night, allowing for a good night sleep and no rush before getting to the starting line of the Spartan race that took place at the Killington ski resort. The room was clean and offered a microwave and a small fridge. Breakfast was complimentary but as a racer, I would have enjoyed fruits and some type...

This hotel is in a good location and the room was clean with satisfactory facilities. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast good and plentiful and overall for a budget conscious traveller this measures up fine.

I stayed there for a two night stay. You get what you pay for. Affordable, low-cost. No independent heat or AC control in the rooms, walls are thin and soundproofing could be improved. I had a room on the third floor with private shower and toilet, there was a kitchenette area with small fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Room was...
