We are a group of Graduate students that travelled here last January. There was 33 of us in total, and the objective of our trip was to hit some awesome slopes for a reasonable price. This place has a very laid back feel, and the manager, Dick, was more than hospitable with our loud and rowdy crew! He made our...

I've read the reviews and with those that rubbish this place I completely disagree with. I've stayed in some of the finest hotels in the world and many poseurs. This place is exactly what it sets out to be-comfortable, clean and affordable lodging near the resort. My room was spotless and I heard no complaints from the other 17 people...

If your wife / girlfriend thinks that the Holiday Inn is roughing it then The Turn of the River Lodge is probably not the place that you want to take her. However, if you were to tell her that it’s Ft Wilderness at Disney World the small rooms, beds, and bathrooms would be quaint and cozy. The difference is that...

Thanks for the hospitality at TRL. Dick Brady the owner for 34 years is a great guy. Well priced, friendly folks & a great fire place. TRL is your place!

This place is for gnarly dudes on a mini-budget. I checked in to The Turn Of River Lodge with my boyfriend and checked out the next morning because we were so displeased. With six-packs of beer in the entrance hall and vile-smelling ski and snowboard boots in the lobby, the atmosphere was reminiscent of a frat house, or a hut...

What a WONDERFUL place. The owner and staff are all extremely considerate, laid back (yet quick to service any of your needs at a moments notice).... My friends staying in the 12 person bunk, one private room, and a private room w/ a bathroom.... we found it to be clean, comfortably warm, spacious great room for socializing with strangers. We...

It's a basic room, clean and without any thrills but priced right with a friendly owner. This is what every Econolodge in the States should aspire to be, quality wise and price wise.

For the money you can't beat it. It is very charming and cozy. The cheapest place to stay at Killington. I like the fact that they welcome the solo traveler, which most places don't.

at a dorm room rate of $30/night you can't beat it when traveling alone to ride at killington. if you're addicted to the mountains, but don't want to spend $100+ for the weekend, stay here! they have a continental breakfast (not a big one, but they do have a modest variety of fresh breakfast food). the lodge owners are very...

We just spent three days at the Turn of The River Lodge. The convenience to The Skye Peak gondola is great. The rooms were small (not much room to stretch those sore muscles). Our room had a leak at the base of the toilet that was not repaired after asking about it for two days. In our travels we found...
