I took my family here for their first time skiing and for the most part, it was amazing. We took classes daily and by the fourth day, my husband and 12 year old daughter were skiing down Madonna Peak no problem! My instructor was Ray was amazing and really helped me fine tune my skills as needed. The one complaint...

Hello from Smugglers' - Thank you very much for choosing Smugglers' for your family's first ski experience. We appreciate your review of your vacation. While we're glad to hear that you, your husband and your daughter were served very well by ski lessons, we're disappointed that your young son did not have an equally positive experience. I booked this trip because the resort was rated so highly in Ski Magazine, and we were taking the kids for their first time skiing. I'm used to skiing high-end mountains out west in Utah and Colorado, so I was nervous about the level of instructors for the kids and the conditions of the terrain. I'll start by saying that...

My husband and I took our girls (age 9 and 6) skiing for the first time and it was awesome. The mountain was so quiet that my girls ended up having private lessons on their first day and only one other child on the second day. The instructors are so patient and friendly, they really made learning fun and exciting....

We stayed in The Estates at Smugglers Notch in December 2014. This accommodations seemed brand new. We stayed in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. There was a full kitchen, dining room, and living room with a fireplace. The master bedroom featured a fireplace, steam shower, and garden tub. A hot tub was shared by all of the condos on...

We are having a great time at Smuggs! My husband has already asked when I have Spring Break next year because he wants to come back. We did not ski but there is still lots of things to do. If you have small children, they can go to the Fun Zone and play games or miniature golf. There are also...

Can't say enough about the quality of the terrain and layout of the mountain for all types of skiers. Even though their lifts are slow and outdated, don't let that stop you from going there. It's the best mountain to ski out east except for maybe Tremblant. It puts Stowe it's sister mountain to shame.
