We have stayed at the Inn at West View Farm many times over the past three or four years. It is a nice, quiet, relaxed place to stay while in the Manchester/Dorset/SW Vermont area. It stands a little apart from the Dorset Inn and others in the town. Even in Dorset, being a little bit off the main stage can...

We've enjoyed many meals over the years at this beautiful inn, but this was the first time we've stayed here on a long weekend of leaf-peeping. Set back off Route 30 in beautiful little Dorset, the Inn's ten attractive rooms, living room, bar and restaurant make this an ideal place to stay. Our large room provided a perfect bed, cable...

My sister and I shared a twin bedded room at the Inn for 2 nights in July. The room was thoughtfully appointed, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom met our expectations. The breakfasts were exceptional, and our dinner was also delicious. The service was just right. Our hostess at the Inn suggested that we might like to attend the...

We traveled from the Equinox (not far at all) to this beautiful Inn and we were delighted by the food. Very delicious. We are in our 40s and we were by far the youngest couple in the restaurant. We were seated by a group of 3 couples (all golfers) & were subjected to braggy golf talk the entire meal! The...

We would be traveling for 4 weeks and be gone from home on my husband's birthday. When I found the Inn at West View, I knew it was perfect for my husband's birthday dinner. The inn is located in the tiny village of Dorset. Compared to the much bigger and busier Manchester with all of its outlet stores, Dorset is...

We dined at the restaurant at the Inn at West View Farm, although we stayed elsewhere. It is a short and easy drive from Manchester to Dorset and definitely worth the trip! The dining room is spacious and attractive. The menu is creative, with an interesting Asian influence. We knew when the amuse bouche arrived - a delicate and tasty...

Cozy. Just a short distance north of Manchester (where all the outlets are) and not far from Mount Equinox. The hostess Christal was gracious and helpful. Dinner was delicious and for breakfast, their glorious morning muffin was heavenly.

We traveled to Dorset as a getaway for some quiet time, good food and to take in a play at the Dorset Theater. What a great trip. The Inn was very nice- small and comfy with sitting rooms, a small bar & firepalce, deck/patio area, nice grounds and a fabulous restaurant. We had the King Room which was spacious and...

My husband celebrated our 32nd anniversary here and had a wonderful time. The inn was very comfortable and the hostess was very accommodating as well as informative about the local area. Dinner at the Inn was exquisite. The night we were there, they had almond crusted corvino (whitefish) on a bed of red quinoa and asparagus with a wonderful sauce....

“The room that we chose was a bit smaller than we imagined, but it was really not a problem. I did note that some of the other Tripadvisor folks mentioned having larger rooms, so if this is an issue for you, you may want to look into it more thoroughly.”

“We stayed in room #7 which had a king bed. It was quite spacious and a bit removed from the other rooms, so it felt very private. In the early evening we could hear noise from the kitchen, but at night it was quiet and the next morning, all was quiet, too.”
