We checked in just as the restaurant closed for the night. We requested "something, anything please to eat". Nothing was possible we were told. We went on to the guest room and found it to be not well appointed, with bathroom repairs not in order. The television was in an adjoining room with very uncomfortable furniture. In summary this is...

We live near the Inn at West View Farm and have been enjoying dinners there since 2001 when we bought a home in Vermont. The dinners are always wonderful. We recently celebrated my husband's 70th birthday there with 12 friends in the private dining room. Everyone had a great time. The food, service and ambiance were wonderful. Crystal made sure...

We traveled to Vermont for a restful weekend. We were not disappointed. The inn is quiet, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Krystal the inn keeper is quiet and reserved. (not cold like others have said)and runs a nice ship! Her staff is very friendly and outgoing. Polly and her daughter (whose name escapes me) helped to make the fantastic meal even...

As it initially was quite warm in our room & we had to wait until the window air conditioner was turned on, we decided to open the other window. Well, that window had been painted shut. The room also didn't have a box of tissues. The Inn's website states there is "Complimentary High-speed Internet Access (WIFI)." Well, we were unable...

Locals should be flocking to this restaurant!! (out of towners too ). Best food, fresh and so tasty ! We have been there twice within the last 8 months and both experiences were fabulous! But I can't understand why the place was not bursting at the seams with people. Well, less people mean we can always reserve a table !...

We stayed here in October as part of a wedding party. Christal was very pleasant to work with and was happy to answer any questions we had about the area and places to hike. Breakfast is provided and was delicious. They baked fresh muffins from scratch with choices of pancakes, frittata or quiche, which were all very good. Amy was...

This is a very nice Inn close to the Dorset Green. Very friendly and helpful staff. They were able to accommodate our early check in and gave us great suggestions on places to go in the area. Inn is quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

The Inn is in a very nice location- a short drive from Manchester Center, and near the Dorset Green. The Inn is typical of what you find in VT. Christal was very nice and welcoming when we arrived. Our room was fine- nice, comfortable and perfect for what we need- a place to crash each night. The breakfasts were excellent....

This place is more often reviewed for its food and less so for its hospitality and rooms. Since we were immediately informed on entering that there was no dinner, we can comment on the Inn. The owner was haughty and marginally friendly. The room was adequate but devoid of any amenities other than soap. There was no tea service or...

“The room that we chose was a bit smaller than we imagined, but it was really not a problem. I did note that some of the other Tripadvisor folks mentioned having larger rooms, so if this is an issue for you, you may want to look into it more thoroughly.”

“We stayed in room #7 which had a king bed. It was quite spacious and a bit removed from the other rooms, so it felt very private. In the early evening we could hear noise from the kitchen, but at night it was quiet and the next morning, all was quiet, too.”
