Front desk staff was so nice! The room was clean and updated. But they never changed out the hvac units in this old hotel and they worked horribly as well as LOUD. Don't expect to get any sleep if you're sensitive to noise. Close to shopping and restaurants. Price pretty standard for the area. Fridge and microwave in the room

Hotel's Favourite
No room makeup service, the room not worth $300 per night. The hotel is getting a little old and worn. Only one elevator working is not acceptable. Breakfast was below every Hampton Inn I have used. The meat was heated in microwave without browning. This makes both sausage links or patties look gray with a slimy feel.

The most beat up and dirty Hampton I’ve ever stayed at. Lobby chairs and couch worn and dirty, carpets stained, no business center, Quite shocking frankly. Think twice. Stay away. Very disappointed ☹️

On the positive side, the hotel was convenient and staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was pretty decent. We found the room and bed/pillows to be comfortable and appeared clean. The reason for my lower rating is the bathroom floor was filthy. I dropped some water and when I wiped it up with some tissue, the tissue was black. Tried this in several areas of the floor and yep, definitely had not been mopped for some time (in spite of the “Certified Clean” sticker on the bathroom mirror). This was disappointing to say the least. I can live with not having housekeeping in everyday and available upon request. I have no problem picking up extra towels or soap at the desk. But I have a serious problem going into a room that has not been adequately cleaned between guests (or multiple guests). I should have notified the manager and requested they come and mop the floor - not sure why I didn’t. Anyway, I will not be returning to this hotel again. Management needs to step up on the cleanliness of their bathrooms.

This motel does an adequate job taking care of their guests. The motel is older, but we stayed on the first floor and the rooms were nice. If you are staying for several days your room will only be cleaned once more in a four-day span. The breakfast staff are wonderful!!! I loved greeting Tina each morning. She was ALWAYS positive and interested in our group and what we were doing. The breakfast was wonderful! Hot food every- day and the cook is great! I was a little concerned that they had no lysol or disinfectant available when we asked to use some in one of our groups' room who had gotten a severe cold. Made me wonder if they do sanitize rooms ever?

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel dozens of times over the years. The rooms are a good size and the location allows easy access to Burlington VT and the surrounding area. We have noticed, however, that service has declined post covid, This time we found hair in our tub. In addition, as we were staying for two nights we asked twice for our bathroom to be cleaned. When I asked at the front desk the morning of our second day, the woman at the desk said that all she could do was pass on the request to housekeeping "and they will do what they want with it". This is not the level of service I expect as a Diamond member. I am now seriously thinking about not returning to this hotel even though there is much about it that I like.

There were so many issues we had with the hotel, we will never return. Silver lining was the staff. We would have stayed at the Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain, but they did not have any suites available. So, we booked a one bedroom here expecting at least the Hilton comfort we know and love. To start things off, we were given the wrong room, which they rectified. They originally placed us in a studio suite instead of the one bedroom suite I booked. Unfortunately, the correct room had multiple issues. The first thing we noticed was the funky smell. It was hard to describe, but I’d say like someone smoked in the room and they were trying to cover it with a perfume freshener. The second thing we noticed was the temperature. We were already late for a family reunion, so we just dropped our bags, lowered the temp to 68 and left. When we returned later that night, the temperature really didn’t drop, that we could tell. We moved the thermostat down to 65 and hoped for the best. It was showing 72, but felt much warmer. The temp never dropped bellow the displayed 72. My son was going to sleep on the sofa and I went to grab the linens and pillow from the closet to find nothing but a used blanket. Finally the bed in the master bedroom was extremely uncomfortable. My wife and I tossed and turned all night long and got up the next morning barely able to walk. To be transparent , we both have back problems. BUT, we don’t normally have an issue with our Hilton stays. Parking was a challenge. I am a disabled veteran and when checking in was able to use one of the two handicap parking spots by the front entrance. When we returned later that night, there was no parking in the front. We had to park in the rear. We did find a handicap parking spot, but the walk to our room from there felt very long. The staff was great. We didn’t use any amenities.

I should have listened to the other terrible reviews about this location. They are dishonest, unethical, and non-responsive. I made a reservation and paid for it in points. (see image attached). Arrived very late and they said their "system was down" but gave me a room key and said all was good. The hotel was just "ok". Two weeks later a credit card charge from the on my account for $284.90. I have called them no less than 20 times and the "manager" is never available. I finally reached him after pretending to call about something else and he said he would "have to contact the points people". I never heard back from him and was never able to get him on the telephone again. Absolutely despicable and dishonest business to deal with. Naturally I was able to file a dispute with my credit card company, But that is time consuming, as I had to send them receipted documentation and fill out the claim forms, etc. I should not have had to do all that. I caught the hotel in their overbilling swindle/scam and they should have owned up to it and "made it right". I wonder how many other people have never caught this on their credit card billings ? I also filed a complaint with Hilton corporate, however from the sound of it, all they do is forward to the hotel. I never heard back from them.

I would not stay at this property again. I stayed 6 nights. No room cleaning service in spite of paying over $200 a night for the room! I requested cleaning, and got a partial clean. No fresh towels. It should not be my responsibility to beg for a clean room. I checked out on the app like normal, but never got a receipt. I have requested a formal business receipt and the one the uploaded showed zero...no breakdown for a formal IRS receipt. Still trying to resolve this a week later. Hotel is split level with reception on the 3rd floor. there is only ONE elevator that goes to the rear parking and it was out of service the whole time I was there, and very limited parking in the front. Clearly the owner is not following Hampton Inn brand standards. I've been a Diamond Member for years and know what a stay should be like. I'll find a different hotel next time.
