No room makeup service, the room not worth $300 per night. The hotel is getting a little old and worn. Only one elevator working is not acceptable. Breakfast was below every Hampton Inn I have used. The meat was heated in microwave without browning. This makes both sausage links or patties look gray with a slimy feel.

We were staying for two nights and let me say the room was clean. However, the carpet was stained in the room and hallway and furniture was a bit beaten up. The price was decent, and we usually stay in Hampton Inn's wherever we go due to the usually well appointed rooms. The staff was nice, no complaints there. It is very convenient to all attractions and the University. There were many people there and it was still quiet and rooms were sealed on doorway after they were cleaned, which is important. They practiced social distancing with their rooms and no one was on top of anyone. The rooms leave much to be desired, but as I said they were clean and bed was comfortable. New furniture and carpeting is in order.

Pool was the perfect temperature didn't have to get acclimated to the water, very clean not overpowering with chlorine. Breakfast was great, good variety of healthy foods. Had a noisy guest across the hall and the staff was prompt to address and resolve the situation. Definitely would stay again

This hotel was fine— it is clean, it has functional rooms, and convenient parking. However, if you are pet owner looking to come to the area DON’T stay here. We left the hotel to go to an event in Essex (in the middle of the day on a Saturday) and we got a call from the front desk that said our dog was “barking up a storm” and they have a strict “no barking” policy. I’m sorry, but I’m my opinion, if you are going to allow pets you should accept the fact that the owners are most likely going to leave their pets alone in the room at some point and they may potentially bark. If you are looking for a pet friendly option in the Burlington area, I suggest going elsewhere.

Dear hannahftidwell, Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to rate us on TripAdvisor. We're sorry that you did not have a good experience with us during your stay. However, I think that you will agree that a listening to a barking dog can potentially be unpleasant for some guests. It is the policy of our hotel that pets not be left in the hotel unattended. We apologize if this policy was not properly communicated, but it does insure the safety and calmness of all pets and keeps us from having to charge exorbitant pet deposits. Hopefully the rest of your stay met expectations and we do hope that you will stay with us again. Respectfully, Darren Haynes Front Office Manager

The staff and hotel were excellent
As an industry person we highly recommend this location on the basis of comfort, quality, value, service and amenities.
Beautiful building, large rooms with spacious bathrooms.
Lots of public space for use, indoor pool and plenty of parking.
Very close to Burlington, VT Teddy Bear and The Ben and Jerry’s Factory.

It was a decent hotel, the cleanliness was great but the service of the hotel staff and the front desk could’ve been a little bit more communicative. The whole 3 days we were there we were given no towels or a clean garbage bag so we could dump our garbage. I understand that rooms do not get changed which is no problem but it would be nice to at least get the garbage dumped and get a fresh set of towels, the only way that I was able to get them was to ask the housekeeper in the hallway.

Do NOT stay here. The beds are terrible. Your bathroom is also your closet door so make sure you ask before leaving the bathroom (no locks) or the person in closet will get close lined. We were really unhappy with the size of the room and the beds. They move all around because of cheap frames. So we decided to leave and go to Marriott as another room wouldn't solve the problem. I was promised they would NOT charge me for the two nights we didn't stay (I was happy to pay for the night I did) They told me they would also give me 10,000 Hilton honors points for the inconvenience of moving. They charged me for the nights we left and never gave points. Took 4 phone calls to get my money back and points. I told them at this point I want the night I did stay refunded. They refused and said a manager would have to approve that. Never got a call and it's been a week. I reached out to corporate and they said they would give me my night back but they were taking back the points. SERIOUSLY? TAKE THEM, I am never sleeping there again.

I was excited to get what I thought was an upgrade to a suite. This suite had lots of room, but not much else to be excited about. Both small dirty windows packed into a dark corner looked out over a roof with garbage and pigeons, which had a drain that smelled like sewage. The carpet was stained, the wall paper was damaged in multiple places, one lamp didn't turn on. The bed was horrible and made awful noises. The kitchen had a paper towel roll with 3 sheets left. It took hours for the bedroom to cool down and didn't ever get down to the temp. I set it at. The refrigerator door opens the wrong way. The bathroom sink and vanity are very cute, perfect for a child's play house. There was free coffee in the room, 1 cup and the coffee downstairs was empty. The grab and grow breakfast is not quite up to prison standards, if there are any left. Overall this particular Hampton Inn is well below what I have experienced in others.

We had a late check-in as arranged and our room was ready and exactly as we had requested. We were on the 5th floor away from the elevator so the room was very quiet and even had a vaulted ceiling in part of the room. Everything was in order. Our one complaint is that the mattress is too soft, as in needs to be replaced. The bathroom has a sliding "barn style" door which is nice but it blocks the closet when it's open. The bathroom was spacious and supplied with soaps, shampoo, conditioner and lotion.
The building is on a slope so you're actually entering on the 3rd floor. Parking in front of the hotel is quite limited but if you venture down the hill there are more spaces. It's right at exit 16 with the entrance from the side street.
Breakfast was well-stocked and safety precautions were in place. More than half the people were wearing masks and the tables for two have wing-back chairs so you're somewhat shielded as well.
We would stay here again.

According to the Non-Smoking sign on the floor we stayed on we’re not non smoking rooms. Our room smelled of smoke and musty. We had to run the AC at 65 from keeping the room from smelling. The light shades were dusty and dirty. The furniture and blinds were stained and dirty. I didn’t want to touch anything in that room. The bathroom sink was dirty on the rim and the bathtub had orange mold. It was gross! I had to go out and buy Clorox Bleach wipes and clean the room. We sleep on blankets I brought from home. There were small black bug flying in the in the bathroom, kitchen and living room areas. I was spraying them with Lysol spray. I will never return. We came home washed all our clothes and sprayed down our suitcases. Plus the elevator was out of order all the time.
