So I am a huge fan of the independent owner-operated Victorian B&B's that offer a couple of rooms in the innkeeper's own home. Part of the experience is firsthand stories of the life and times of the house, the innkeeper and the family who chooses to love and keep the house alive. Over our 3-night stay at the Rose Arbor,...

This place is reasonably priced , a great value for Vermont! We had a comfortable clean room, a delicious breakfast and we got to pet the gorgeous huskies!! They are so beautiful and loving! The Christmas decorations were so warm and inviting! The inn keeper was very accommodating , the wifi was great. You can't beat the value! Great quiet...

I've been going to Suzanne's tea room with my family over the course of 7 years. I've always had good tea and scones. And we live in Germany and frequent England often ... so we know our tea and scones. The decor is lovely and the gifts are charming. Suzanne's paint work shop is a bonus. Her art work has...

These were my accommodations as I returned to the haunts of my youth nearly fifty years ago. The proprietor was outstanding, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. She's a real Renaissance woman, part innkeeper, cook, shopkeeper, artist, equestrian, and dog lover.

The rooms were clean comfortable and you feel right at home. We met the most loving friendly and well behaved Huskies. The owner was friendly hospitable and informative. The Homemade breakfast was delicious Highly recommend a must place to stay when in the area.

Although Suzanne's focus is more on her equine painting than creating a tea room atmosphere today, the quality of her tea offerings and her scones cannot be beat. It is still a destination worth driving two hours to experience. The design and many varied items in her lovey gift shop is a delight to see as well.

This was my second annual stay at Rose Arbour, and it felt like coming home. Suzanne has provided so many small amenities--tea and coffee fixings, immaculate, fluffy terry cloth robes--along with her warm welcome. The wrap-around porch and upstairs sitting room are so inviting that it's hard not to stay an extra day. Yes, the bath is shared, but it...

Two years ago this tea room was so nice. It is no longer a tea room, as advertised! This year....We were seated by the faded jean clad hostess in a corner of what seemed to be a oversized hallway to the bathroom, this should have been my first clue. Our other choice of seating was the chilly porch. My view...

We stopped here to sample the desserts we had heard about and were glad we did. The front porch was a great place to hang out, drink some freshly prepared tea and sample the outstanding chocolate date cake that had been made that morning. The host/owner,Suzanne, was pleasant and friendly and we liked her shop too where we bought some...
