The motel was just fine for an overnight stay and we were happy to support a non-chain business. The room could have been a little cleaner, but it didn't bother us one bit. We'll gladly stay there again!

We stayed here in October to be close to the train ride the next morning. This is a 1960's era motel with small rooms, but very clean and easy to park right in front of your room. The owner lives on site and is very friendly and helpful and offers a small continental breakfast. The room needs a chair so... More

This is a super cute, homey,family-run small motel. The kind where the owners greet you and you park your car in front of your room. Exceedingly friendly, very clean, old fashioned in a good way. Country decor, comfy chairs on the deck "porch" in front of each room. The rooms are not fancy-- bring your own shampoo and hairdryer-- but... More

Excellent motel to stay with family!!! If you are in Ludlow and Chester area this is the place to stay! The owner is very nice and accommodating your needs. Me and my family throughly enjoyed staying here. Beautiful Victorian type of hotel. Morning breakfast and the home made muffins were yummy :) Highly recommended.

We were visiting friends in Chester and stayed at the motel for five nights. This was a real treat. Safe and familiar and the nicest staff. We had a small room but will ask for the one with kitchen next time to be able to cook. I loved coming out here after a whole day of visiting around the State... More

This motel is old fashioned and quaint! You drive up to your door and have a nice little seat outside. We stayed in a queen sized bed room. It was small, but clean and comfortable. The bed was on the firmer side, but it was comfortable. Plenty of blankets and towels. I would suggest bringing an extra pillow or two... More

I have stayed here many times. Love the theme rooms. Clean, simple, , comfortable. Pat, owner is great. Fresh home made muffins for breakfast. Not a fancy place but love the non chain hotel. Convenient location. Quiet location. A throw back hotel

Stayed here for 2 nights in mid-July. For the price very reasonable. Clean and a mom and pop motel. If you are looking for glitz move on. Very comfortable beds Situated in very picturesque Chester Vermont. Many charming antique stores etc. Close to Vermont Country Store a must see in Weston, about 7 miles away.

For what it is, it is ok. One of the beds was terrible. No phone, no wifi, ancient tv.... But it is just a super basic place to stay on the cheap. It was quite clean. Good mid point for okemo and bromley access. No microwave, did have little fridge

We spent two nights here over New Year's eve on a ski trip to Okemo and Bromley, it is about 20 mins. from each mountain. Very comfy, very clean, charming little place for a reasonable price. The office / breakfast area / gift shop offers a very cozy environment for hanging out or accessing the wi-fi, and stays open until... More
