We have held our conservation camp for teens at another site -- which we loved! -- for four previous years, but due to its closing we had to move. We are delighted that Jackson's Lodge turned out to be an EVEN BETTER venue! Wonderful accommodations, lots of space for all of us to move around, lots of options: the lake,...

I stayed in Jackson's Ermine cabin recently, and it was a wonderful experience. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and thoroughly enjoyable. Additionally, the staff was amazing and the location was beautiful. I would higly recommend staying at Jackson's.

Clean cabins, fabulous central lodge, beautiful lake, extremely friendly staff. This is a great location for a quiet family vacation. The lake and surrounding ponds, rivers and streams are a fisherman's paradise. The owners and staff are always available and helpful. My only request would be for stronger coffee for the early morning risers!

Had a wonderful three night respite at Jackson's just this past month and my stay was just great. Had the lakefront Partridge cabin that was beautiful and clean inside and had all the basic amenities that were needed for a comfortable stay. The sunset to dusk view were absolutely stunning and the surrounding beautiful outdoor topography cannot be rivaled. Both...

We had a family reunion for 40 at Jackson's Lodge. About 1/4 of the people were from California and getting there was a hike for them but after an hour or so, they knew it was worth it. We rented several of the cottages and one house. All of the cottages were first class - done with a lot of...

Perfection... A perfect location for a women's writing retreat. I was blessed to be at Jackson's Lodge as the facilitator of the "Transformational Journal Writing" retreat in May. Working with Gloria and her crew to plan the event was a pleasure. It was a perfect setting for reflection and community building with a beautiful environment and an atmosphere of generosity...

I was at Jackson's Lodge on a retreat in May with a group of women.. Two other women roomed with me in a beautifully outfitted cottage. it had everything we needed, and many great and generous extras, like a jar full of pencils, a comfortable sofa, a big, screened-in porch. Very tastefully done, and unpretentious. The lodge itself is grand--plenty...

Beautiful setting, amazingly kind and accommodating staff (as in, outstanding), cozy cabins, bonfire by the lake, great walking trails. I will be going back! I was there for a writing retreat and the setting was perfect for reflection and connection.

Whether for business or pleasure, this is a great place to stay if you enjoy idyllic surroundings, very personable owners, and neat, clean facilities with rustic north woods charm. I found the owners, Mark and Gloria, to be very engaging and helpful in providing the lay of the land and local contacts so as to complete my work in the...

We were a group of 14, spanning 3 generations. The weather the week of August 8 was not perfect but everyone was always happy. The lodge and the area offer so much... hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, exploring Quebecois culture, indoor games, Gloria, Mark, and the staff are perfect hosts. The breakfast is scrumptious and local. We were lucky to be...
