We stayed at this hotel over the labor day weekend. We could not find any other location for this time. Compared to what you get the hotel is pretty expensive. However the rooms are clean and spacious. It has all amenities including a fridge. The rooms with view to the lake are great.

Hotel's Favourite
The Courtyard Burlington Harbor is definitely not a typical Courtyard. This is more like a full service hotel. Check-in was rapid and efficient. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are large, clean and well maintained and have a mini-frig and microwave. Good drawer and closet space. Nice view of Lake Champlain from our room. Onsite full service restaurant, Bleu Northeast Kitchen, was very good for both breakfast and dinner. Servers were excellent morning and evening. Dinner prices were a little high, but quality of food was top notch. Location coulkd not have been better, several blocks to the Lake and beautiful waling/bike trail and several blocks to lots of shops, bars and restaurants.

We are new to the Bonvoy Marriott partnership. We paid for a Lake Champlain room/view. This is what we got from our bed in room 405. Should I have gone down to the front desk, eyes blazing, after check in showed this travesty? Probably yes as that might have gotten us the view we paid for. Yet why should we have to do that when we obviously, after 5 hours of driving north, were deceived?

nice location walking distance to everything on the harbor plus to church st restaurants and bars if thats your thing. when you walk in it looks like a run of the mill marriott, as does the room......however we had a big full window view of the lake and harbor. a real awesome view. it was amazing. only reason it doesn't get five stars is because other than that view, its a very basic marriott.

This hotel is very convenient to the pedestrian mall and the waterfront. Easy walking distance to all. The rooms are spacious - our standard room had a seating area plus extra space to do yoga. But it comes at a price - the hotel is quite pricy. And parking and breakfast are an additional charge. We ended up getting pizza and taking it to our room (it was raining and we would not eat in a restaurant due to Covid). The bar tender could not have been more helpful setting us up with beers and an opener to take to the room. My only complaint, other than the price, was our reception. When we checked in, the woman at reception was cold as ice. No greeting, no wish for a pleasant stay. No explanation about how to work the elevators (you need to swipe your room key). She plunked the key down on the counter with not a word and we were just standing there expecting her to say something. So she just grumpily said “was there something else?” or something to that effect. Management could do some work in this regard.

Hello BostonNix, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay. While I am happy to hear you enjoyed your guest room, and service at the bar, I am most sorry for your check in experience. I will certainly review your comments with the front desk team. Our goal is to always give our guests a warm welcome and provide all the information you may need. Again, I am so sorry this was not your experience. Regards, Christian Kuzia, GM

My sister and I arrived on a Friday night and the power went out. it took hours to fix. The hotel staff was so professional and helpful during this crazy time, helping guests pack and move without elevators and helping find alternate accommodations at the beginning of a busy holiday weekend. We left for a night but then returned and finished our stay. Not much to distinguish the hotel from other Marriott properties, but obviously well-run. Shout out to the bartender, and restaurant manager as well who were beyond friendly and hepful

Wow this hotel was fantastic. Totally exceeded my expectation for a stay at a courtyard. I have no idea if this is a newer hotel , but it certainly felt new. Clean, comfortable, staff friendly. Rooms were spacious and didn’t have the typical old , tired, moldy feel to them. You won’t be disappointed

I really don’t understand the negative reviews of this hotel. We had a wonderful time! First, let me just say that I am extremely picky when it comes to hotels and typically only do high-end, but I chose this one due to the location and convenience. The hotel is well-maintained and the staff was friendly and accommodating. But the breakfast! Please, you have to have breakfast in the hotel restaurant. It was so delicious!!! We loved everything - yogurt parfait with granola, honey and fresh berries, pancakes (we asked for one of each plain, blueberry and chocolate) with real Vermont syrup, eggs were fluffy and not over cooked, well-seasoned potatoes and crispy bacon. We’ll come back here just for the breakfast! And the hotel is a convenient and lovely walk to the pier. Also a quick walk to Hen of the Wood restaurant, which was also incredible. Great job, Courtyard team!!! We’ll be back!

I visited Burlington on April 30, 2022 from Montana. Always had great experience at Marriott's before but this time was not good. I was traveling with my son daughter-in-law so decided on king suite with separate room and hide abed. Once in the room, no bedding for hide abed. Unfortunately it took 5 times requesting between checking in at 3 and 915pm to get bedding. Hide abed's are never very comfy but this one was the worst, all springs. Then there was issue if kids screaming up and down the hallway until 11am and kicking it off again at 645am. I complained to a supervisor who indicated kids will be kids. Our view on the 9th floor was a stack of trek boards. Front desk later said they would comp my $400 room when I complained upon checking out but haven't seen a credit yet. Hilton may be getting my business next time. I wouldn't recommend this place. Very disappointing.

I had initially booked a Saturday and Sunday night stay then later added a new reservation for Thursday night using points (I thought). Upon arrival late Thursday I found out my Thursday reservation never went through. The front desk staff couldn’t have been more helpful straightening out the mess. The helpfulness continued throughout our stay. The location is great, beautiful view of the lake, just four blocks to Church street. There were only 2 cons, one of the 2 elevators was problematic during our stay. The other issue Marriott is, it’s time to change the drapes when you can see daylight though them like looking at the night’s stars. Wait I will add a third, $1.50 a day marketing destination fee?
