We stayed in the downstairs room of the Howard St Guesthouse the last weekend of July 2011. The colors in the room, described by the owner as funky, were just beautiful! From the painted birds on top of the closet to all the bright colors, it was welcoming and warm. Also, this studio is spotlessly clean. The shower has plenty...

The Howard street guest house is a great place to stay in Burlington. It is in a quiet residential area, but within easy walking distance of the centre. The room is beautifully decorated. Highly recommended

We have stayed here twice now. The first time on the lower level and we loved it so much we just had to go back again to try the upper level. Both times were perfect. As soon as you walk in the door you feel immediately comfortable and at home. The location to downtown is easily walkable. The rooms are...

We were very fortunate to find this and squeeze in for a 1 night stay while visiting Burlington. Very nice and friendly host and the large suite was ideal for us. Quiet residential location. Beautifully clean, bright and refreshing decor and furnishings with a very useful kitchenette so we could prepare ourselves a light dinner and breakfast. The suite has...

This place is delightful and Andrea is a wonderful hostess. The furniture, decor, use of color and gardening on the property are incredible. Staying here will make your stay in Burlington a much richer experience!

I stayed at the Howard Street guest house on the upper level. It is complete with a full kitchen and dishware-there are some breakfast items and you can bring in any groceries. It had a beautiful cathedral ceiling/skylights and the archictecture was splendid, much nicer than a standard hotel room. That it is in an actual neighborhood adds to its...

The owner was kind enough to book us over the phone while she was grocery shopping, so she is very accommodating. We stayed in the downstairs room, a spacious, cute area with lots of light and very clean. The downstairs room does contain the water heater for the upstairs room, but the noise is minimal and we had no trouble...

My sister and I were extremely lucky to nab two weekend nights (Saturday and Sunday) on Columbus Day weekend for our uncle's 90th birthday bash in nearby Charlotte. We were absolutely delighted at the first floor accommodations, privacy, convenience, beauty, and pricing. When we weren't marveling at the colorful, well-designed interior, we were walking the neighborhood enjoying all of the...

What a find! I was looking for some extra space and a kitchen to help me get ready for the VT Marathon and didn't want to be cooped up in a hotel room. I was so glad to find this place that must have had 700 to 800 sq. ft - enough that you could have lived here (on a...

My husband and I spent 3 nights here. We really liked the spacious apartment-style room, the lovely decor and the privacy. Andrea is very accommodating if you request her help, but leaves you alone if you don't. As other reviewers mentioned, it is a little removed from downtown. However, the benefits of staying here far outweighed that minor disadvantage. We...
