Had Thanksgiving buffet there and it was a great experience all the way from the reservation, the service, the ambiance, the food, the drinks, and the drive. The place is quaint in that it is underlined by the Vermont Style of Olde. The food is perfectly prepared and served with a charm that stresses care, concern, and professonality. It is...

The most obvious thing is that the inn is in need of refurbishment, including the wobbly chairs in the dining areas. We stayed in the suite, but it was quite drab with an old carpet, and an ugly green bathmat, that was not of the wash with every new guest variety. The bed, was reasonably comfortable. The bathroom is reasonably...

We enjoyed our first visit to Baldwin Creek after a grueling (but fun) day of biking on Inn to Inn. Linda the hostess, and Doug, the chef, gave us a wonderful experience with a warm welcome, delicious food and comfortable rooms. We enjoyed the quietness of the grounds, and the overall relaxed feel of the inn. The restaurant itself is...

We stayed while on a multi day bicycle trip. From the second my 2 kids and I walked through the doors we were treated so well. The meals were fantastic, staff very professional and welcoming. We were sad to leave.

Delicious locally sourced ingredients and food all made from scratch including the blackberry jam made by chef and owner Doug.Breakfast started with vermont tea, coffee, scones, and fresh fruit. Then you could choose a main course. The character of the inn was farmhouse antique with many modern upgrades and renovations. We hope to go back and visit to relax, take a...

We have stayed here multiple times while visiting family, from before we had kids to now with out 2 boys (aged 4 and 7). The boys love coming to "Chef Doug's". Doug's approach to cooking and the slow food movement are appealing both to my kids (who LOVED chasing Doug's chickens around - with Doug's permission) and to me -...

We've stayed here several times before. Linda and Doug are wonderful hosts; we always look forward to staying here and did so again recently. Our room was lovely. However, the dinner menu included several items with unusual seasonings, some of which did not sound appealing, as if the chef were experimenting, and the waitress we had was not really helpful...

The good/great first, and that would definitely be the food and wonderful choices on the menu. Property, however, is not in great repair, and rooms could be better. My room, at top of the stairs, was noisy, bed was saggy. The room (Martha's), is under the eaves and so has a sloping roof and very low ceiling. My advice is...

My fiance and I attended a wedding here over the weekend. The food was incredible and we absolutely loved the barn for the wedding venue; simply beautiful. We had a fantastic time. My only complaint is that our room wasn't very clean; there were stains on the comforter and bath towels. I think it's better known for it's food and...
