I can't say enough postive things about our experience at Forty Putney for a weekend visit in conjunction with the Marlboro Music Festival. The ownersTim and Amy were delightful and accommodating in every respect, including breakfasts prepared heart healthy, complimentary soda, water and snacks in the room, and recommendations for local things to do. The grounds are magnificent with beautiful...

There’s a beautiful quaint French Chateau Bed and Breakfast on Putney Road in Brattleboro, Vermont that will take your breath away!! Forty Putney Road B&B presents the perfect place to relax on a blanking sitting under the Red Japanese Maple tree reading a book, sipping wine/beer while playing chess. The rooms are lovely - both tasteful, luxurious and creatively decorated. We stayed in the sun and moon room - super comfy bed, gorgeously maintained period bathroom and lots of space. Great complimentary in...

Forty Putney Road Bed and Breakfast has a warm and cozy appeal. We absolutely loved everything about it. It was clean, beautifully decorated, quaint and cozy. The rooms are beautifully decorated with comfy bedding. We enjoyed a fabulous gourmet breakfast by Amy. The Inkeepers, Tim and Amy, are sweet couple. All good things to say.

Tim and Amy (the hosts) also had wonderful ideas on their website of things to do, places to visit and dine in the Brattleboro area. I was hooked and finally made...

Nestled in a cozy little spot at 192 Putney Rd, with perhaps Vermont's largest Japanese maple, is 49 Putney Rd B&B! We were warmly greeted by Tim and Amy! Had our plans allowed, we would have partcipated in the inn's evening beer tasting event--Vermont's finest beers! We were sorry to have missed it. Next time! Our room was beautifully decorated,...
