This hotel is the worst Hilton property that I have ever stayed in. I was not given the room that I reserved, but one with a horrible sofa bed. When I asked to switch rooms, I was told that was impossible because the hotel was fully booked. The pool and hot tub were not open, apparently because the room requires a new ventilation system. The fitness center treadmill was not working. The hotel clearly needs a total renovation. The staff was polite, but not helpful, as they couldn't help resolve any of the problems with my stay. I would not stay here again. I'm not sure that any of the hotels in Brattleboro are worth visiting. The only positive is the location - convenient to I-91.

This is a typical, reliable, Hampton Inn. My wife and I stayed here for one evening during an 8-day road trip through the Hudson Valley and New England. The room was clean and comfortable, the and shower worked with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was tasty. Its not a New England B7B, there is not a lot of charm, but the hotel staff was very friendly, and there were no unexpected problems.

This hotel was one of the lesser Hampton Inns I have stayed at over the years. The lighting was dark and the pool not working. This is an older property, in need of an update. OK service, the check in attendant seemed a bit overwhelmed. There are limited hotel options in Brattleboro but despite this I will go elsewhere in the future.

I chose this hotel for a work trip because of the hot tub. After I checked in, I saw a sign saying it was broken and I complained to the girl at the front desk. She was kind and friendly, but said there was nothing she could do. I decided to suck it up and just take a hot bath in my room. When I got to my room there wasn’t even a tub. I called to the front desk, who said they couldn’t change my room. I immediately contacted Hilton corporate to see if they could help me. They were rude, completely unhelpful, and couldn’t care less that I was upset. Also this is a work trip and the internet in the room doesn’t work. I paid almost $400 to have to leave here at 8pm and look for somewhere with public internet and I can’t take a hot tub or bath. I am pissed. I canceled the room for tomorrow night- luckily it was a seperate reservation. Will not be staying at another Hilton again. They told me to call the manager tomorrow. If they manage to fix this, I’ll update review.…

SHADY PRACTICES! Booked through Expedia, received conf email that we were "all set" 4 days before arrival. Hotel sent unseen email 1:24pm day of arrival to request payment method which was provided to make reservation originally. Arrived at 7p to find our room sold out from under us. Reservation was made 6 months prior, busy area, no rooms anywhere. SPENT NIGHT IN OUR CAR because of this hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE, THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF TRAVEKERS AT HIGH SEASON TO GET HIGHEST RATE FOR ROOMS AT ANY COST.

I like to start by what was good. Reception and check-in was friendly and quick. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. My Husband and daughter shared a double queen room. There was enough space and the aTV had a variety of channels. Also, my daughter liked the cookies, and coffee was good. We were dropping her off from one camp to another and the laundry facility was adequate. The main reason we booked this hotel that was more expensive, was the pool facilities. At the end of checking in we were told that it was closed for renovations. We were all very disappointed!! The air conditioning worked okay but, it was very loud. Another major issue was that the alarm clock was preset and went off at 6:30am. It took us a bit to turn it off. We did not want to be awake before 9am as we were tired. We couldn’t go back to sleep, so we went to the included breakfast. It was mediocre at best. I guess if we were to stay again we would have to check that the amenities advertised are actually available. We have had better experiences at other Hamptons. …

Terrible stay. I can say it looks better than the quality inn next door which appears abandoned and occupied by homeless. Our room was not a king as booked, we did not complain. Went to bed at 9 pm. At 10 pm there is a ton of noise at our door, i waited for it to go away. It did not. The noise was actually coming from our door not neighboring door i has had thought. I got up and peeked out the keyhole, there was a guy and his kids trying to get in. I told him to beat it. Still no complaint from me... BUT then the phone rings and it's the front desk. She wants me to explain why I'm in this room, then she wanted me to stay in line while she talks to herself and try's to figure it out. What an idiot. Of course this may not happen to you, you can roll dice and might get an ok stay here, and the homeless crack smokers from the quality inn may leave your car alone, or you can try someplace else.…

Messed up my reservation, no rooms available after a 2.5 hour drive. Said not my problem, you screwed up. Called me a b**ch, and dropped the f. word. Beyond awful. Charged me $370 for a night that I never even stayed. I have called the manager several times, still has not returned my call. Was there for a lacrosse tournament, hotel is disgusting, the kids couldn’t even swim because the water was green. Located next to an abandoned crack hotel. In the parking lot were cars with slashed tires, and homeless people. HORRENDOUS. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I always enjoy Hampton Inn and despite the updating contractors working in the entryway I enjoyed my stay tremendously. All the staff I met were so friendly and accommodating and that made my stay so pleasant. I was happy with my room and my stay and will go there again.
