The Black Mountain Inn is a great place to stay whether it's just for overnight or a vacation in the Brattleboro area. The motel rooms are large and well appointed the beds were comfortable. There is also a microwave, coffee maker and mini refrigerator in the room. All the rooms have been renovated and nicely decorated. Tina and Monica were...

Thank you for taking the time to write such an amzing review of our inn. We have put in an enormous effort into decorating our room with respect our locale and history and have appointed out guest rooms with useable amenities as you pointed out. We want our guests to have the comforts they expect from chain hotels, but with...

This hotel is exactly as advertised--a budget hotel. A bit worn and dated. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. Needed an inexpensive hotel for one night and that's what we got. The free breakfast was made up of bagels, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, cereal--no yogurt, but you could make your own waffles. Some of the...

We are a well maintained, well lit and well appointed older property, and that's a good thing. If you enjoy the history of our building and places with a unique feel, than this is the place for...

Stopped here for the night. Very friendly welcoming. The property is well maintained, and well lit. Plenty of parking, can park right in front of your room. The free breakfast was very well put together. Lots of breakfast items to pick from. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for your warm words about our property. We have a large frontier here on Putney Road in Brattleboro, filled with landscaping, ample parking, and our outdoor pool. It is rare, since many of the new, chain places are small, tall upright buildings that are dark with little or no grass. It is nice to know that...

We stayed here for 1 night and it was a very good experience, it is a budget Hotel, but very comfortable and very ecofriendly, that for me is very important... Also the management of the hotel is very warming and kind, that is not so common in this kind of budget hotels..

A nice find in Brattleboro. Stayed there on a trip to Mt. Snow since Bratteboro center has a bit more to offer food and entertainment wise than staying at the mountain. We were very pleasantly surprised by the simple, but clean room. Updated bedding, filtered showerhead (my wife loved it and asked we get one for the house!), new carpet....

After a busy day of travel, we didn't have time to search for a motel and were very thankful that we found this one. Choice of feather or fiber filled pillows, comfortable bed, even heating, air filter, great shower, good breakfast, reasonable price, friendly and accommodating owners.

Thank for taking the time to leave us a wonderful review and feedback! We try hard to stay in touch with what our guests are looking for in lodging. Being a good value goes far beyond price. Recently, we have come to adopt a few different fills for our pillows, feather and fiber, also softer to firmer. The variety allows...

We stayed here for a week on business and it was a very pleasant stay. The coffee in the room was surprisingly good. Nice bedding and new carpet in the room. Breakfast in the front office with the adorable owner was the highlight. Will stay again.

The room was quite large - with a fridge and a microwave. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The Inn is in process of being remodeled, so I know it will be even better the next time we visit. The breakfast had a lot of variety also.
