Annie and Dave were EXCEPTIONALLY kind, generous, and lovely people. I was traveling alone and they took me under their wing and made me feel right and home. I had such an amazing stay, I couldn't have asked for more!

Fantastic ski style lodge architecture. Game room in basement, lots of sitting rooms with comfortable seats and couches. Owners are very nice and genuine people. Rooms have a great nostalgic feel and even the room names make it all feel so quaint. Breakfast customized to your needs and the best coffee I've had in months. While Stratton is a long...

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights for an annual college reunion weekend. I just wish I'd found it sooner for previous reunions. Annie and Dave couldn't have been any nicer. The inn is clean and Dave kept the significant snow cleared from the parking lot. It's well lit and easy to find on a snowy night. We...

What a find! Located five minutes from Stratton mtn and nestled in the woods, this Inn has become our home away from home. Innkeepers Annie and David welcome every guest as a new friend and are happy to help you with all your snow activities. And if you are lucky, expert skier David will introduce you to the best terrain...

The Alpenrose Inn is our Vermont getaway for the last 12 years! Anne & David are very warm and gracious hosts who always make you feel like you're coming home! Anne's breakfasts are the best! You leave this place looking forward to getting back as soon as you can! Thank you, Anne & David, for always making us feel special!

Alpenrose Inn is the best kept secret in the Stratton/Bromley ski area. And while we would like to keep it that way, it would not be fair to our incredible hosts Annie and David. During our recent stay, the Alpenrose became a home away from home- except that at our home, the cooking is not as good- not even close....

We love the hospitality, gourmet meals, comfort of this outstanding Inn. Whether we go in the winter to ski or in the Fall to enjoy nearby activities, we want to stay forever . Innkeepers David and Annie have captured the essence of how to treat guests and savor friendships. We have stayed there many, many times and the experience just...

This quaint old inn is charming in a rustic way. Hosts Anne and David are gracious and met our every need - even helping shovel snow from our car!! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and meals at the inn were great (love the locally sourced sausage)! The family style dining room and common areas created a good opportunity to...

Don't go to the Alpenrose for luxurious rooms. Go because the hosts will take very good care of you and the surroundings are beautiful. We stayed there in the summer, as my husband and daughter were preparing for a long backpacking trip. Our hosts helped us out with extra plastic bags, refrigerator space and room in the common areas to...
