Had a fabulous weekend and enjoyed the women's retreat. Warm and friendly staff, very good vegetarian food, cozy and comfortable and clean rooms. They have an outdoor hot tub and an indoor sauna also. Great stay.

My fiance and I spent a long wkd at Lotus Lodge Inn to escape the madness of Inaugoration in DC, and we couldnt have asked for a more peaceful retreat. From the moment we walked in, there are lots of cozy nooks covered in pillows and blankets perfect for reading! A wood fireplace, free hot tea all day, himalayan salt...

(I have a hospitality background, so I see things others might not.) This facility is conveniently located halfway between Montpelier and Burlington, VT. We booked our themed room based on the online photos and description. The comforter looked different in the room than online. The mattress was extremely soft; the pillows were pancake flat. The gas fireplace was easy to run...

This place was so relaxing to stay at. I think the bad reviews come from more high maintenance people I am a young graduate and felt like I was at home with the place. There is a very earthy, rustic, love everyone kind of vibe going on. When I arrived late at night, my key was just waiting with my...

My friend and I stayed here. We were there during a full moon festival so their rooms were "overbooked". We did have reservations, however after seeing the place I was sort of hoping they would just give us our money back and let us leave. They "found a room for us". We stayed and it wasn't good. The full moon...

My husband and I had an incredible experience at Lotus Lodge Inn. The rooms were basic in a serine and calming way, with a fireplace and simple coziness. We used the hot-tub for some time and with the fresh mountain air it was a great escape. Everyone working there was super friendly and wanted to make sure you had a...

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway and that's exactly what we found at the Lotus Lodge. The owners and staff are extremely nice and the inn itself is just so cute. We loved the little bar area and really enjoyed just lounging around the common areas of the inn. Their emphasis on organic, local food...

Booked through Hotels.com at the 11th hour, and didn't realize it was a vegetarian, vegan place. Arrived at 7 pm, and didn't feel like driving all the way back down the valley to find a restaurant, so ate there. The sort of new-age vaguely hippy couple were very friendly, so I have absolutely no criticism there, but we would certainly...

This lodge is one of my favorite place I've stayed at yet, and I've done lots of travelling! The middle eastern inspired decor is gorgeous. The owners are friendly and very accommodating, they made me and my husband feel at home. The room we stayed in was clean and cute. Everything is as described on their website, no unpleasant surprises....

We apparently read the reviews of Black Bear Inn. To our standards, the place was gross-outside and inside. Ugh! Don't go. Really run down conditions. Everything was old and creepy except the young couple who run the Inn. They were very nice.
