My wife and I spent two nights at Twin Farms in November. It was extraordinary in every way. For a hotel that is ranked 9th in the world by Travel & Leisure you might expect an atmosphere of sophistication that might be somewhat constraining. The achievement of Twin Farms is that it provides the highest level of service, food, wine,...

My husband and I stayed at Twin Farms two nights in October. We needed a quick and restful getaway from the kids. Twin Farms seemed like the perfect place to relax and spend quality time together. And the easy drive from NYC was convenient. TF did not disappoint! The gentleman farmer hospitality was delightful. We enjoyed all staff interactions and...

Dear Lflynn77, Thank You for staying with us and the entire staff is thrilled you enjoyed every aspect. The Farmhouse where you stayed is one of my favorite spots on property and that view is one of the best in Vermont. Chef Nathan and Keven do collaborate extremely well to give you an amazing culinary and wine experience. For your...

We recently made our second visit to Twin Farms and were greeted like old friends by all of the people we had met during our first stay. That personal touch by everyone on the staff is one of the things that sets Twin Farms above any other place that we have stayed. Another reason we returned is the outstanding culinary...

I hadn't heard about Twin Farms prior to the week I visited and it's a whole level above anything I had ever experienced. Twin Farms is nestled in the hills of Barnard, Vermont about 1/2 hour northwest of Woodstock. I consists of a number of guest houses surrounding a central inn which has a dining room, multiple living rooms, a...

Dear Biff S, Thank You for visiting us and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. It seems you experienced much of what we have to offer. Now you have to come back in the winter and use those snow shoe trails and ski runs, and I will show you the second barn with firewood ageing for...

Twin Farms in Vermont is much more than we ever expected it to be and beyond our imagination. The service and staff were always there if you needed something and never intrusive if you wanted peace and solitude. We can't say enough about the chef and the variety of food. The breakfast was our favorite meal but that's not to...

Dear Number1green, Thank You for visiting us. It seems like you enjoyed almost every activity available at this time of year. The kitchen was very pleased to hear of your praise as well. The Log Cabin is a very special place and we are so happy that you could "get away" from it all for a few days and enjoy...

Twin Farms is one of the most beautiful resorts I've had the pleasure to visit. The location in central Vermont especially during the Fall season is breathtaking. The Guest room and the Washington room are beautifully appointed, every detail has been carefully thought through. The food and wine both amazing, the activities are carefully chosen, lots of trails for walking...

Every bit as good as advertised. Expensive? Yes, but.... Visited with two other couples mid/late September and all had nothing but great things to say. One of our gang is a high-end hospitality developer/manager/investor and he was nothing but complimentary. (Not an easy man to please, typically, when it comes to hotels, restaurants, etc.) The staff was uniformly professional, courteous...
