This Fairfield was wonderful after a long day of driving & everything was nearly perfect. We slept great. I love their cotton covered light weight comforters. A/C was a tiny bit noisy but they all are when in-room and it actually provided great soft "white...More

Just did a Google search and it looks like its just short of an hour and a half away. There are a couple small non-franchise hotels and motels in the small town of Teasdale/Grover area right outside Capital Reef Park. Just an idea. Also, may look at the B&B's in the Teasdale/Grover area. Both hotel/motels and B&B's average between $66 and $250 a night. Also, looks like camping right outside the park in Fruita.
But if you don't mind the drive, Fairfield Inn is great hotel.
Hope that helps. Cheers!
