This is a historic hotel in Panguitch, which is close to the entrance to Bryce Canyon. Being an old time hotel though means creaking floors, thin (very thin) walls (we could hear conversations of persons in the next room and in the hall), no elevator, old plumbing. Room was small, bed was too soft. There was in-room coffee but no...

Good news: The proprietor was there for our check-in early evening, and assisted in parking in the quaint garage on street-level under the hotel. He handed us keys for rooms on two floors and said, "Take your pick." He gave a good breakfast recommendation at the Flying-M Restaurant up the street - home of the world's largest cinnamon bun (try...

Five of us stayed here for four days. The Owner was very friendly and informative. Told us about each restaurant and what they were best known for. When the town shut down for the day/night, he made sure to let us know there was still ONE restaurant open and we'd better get a move on if we wanted dinner! The...

We stayed 2 nights at the Panguitch Inn and found it to be very comfortable and charming for the low room price. The negative reviews seem to be very picky and not very truthful. The hotel is similar in style to a hostel with older, well cared for furniture. The beds were comfortable for our two night stay while hiking...

We were recently in Panguitch for a family reunion. We failed to reserve a room for the night, and after traveling from Pine Lake there were no rooms available from Bryce Canyon into Panquitch. We finally found a room at the Panquitch Inn around midnight. The cost for the room was over $85.00 and as soon as I got in...

Unlike franchise, this is owner operated facility. There is no paper work and a large ladder to climb to. I was there. The distressed guest could have put nails in my head showing me all goodies he described. Could have prefered to Sleep in car ? who put gun on head to stay at Panguitch Inn ? Thank me to...

Unfortunately, when it comes to visiting national parks, the hotels located within their vicinities are often either overpriced, run-down, lacking in cleanliness, or all of the aforementioned. Because of its relatively close proximity to Bryce Canyon, this Panguitchh Inn deserves two stars. The room was clean, the individual at the front desk was friendly, and the cable television (cathode ray...

We booked the Panguitch Inn as it was pretty much the only option in the area that was a reasonable price. I will suggest now that you pony up and pay the extra amount to stay elsewhere. We arrived at the hotel around 9pm (the time that we stated during booking) to find that there was no one behind the...

We stayed at 4 places to see 4 National parks and this one was the best for the price $40/night. The rooms were adequate for sleeping and had WIFI in the room (others only at the lobby). No shampoo, though. I did not know that you could request it. I liked having a big communal kitchen equipped for cooking, even...

We thought the room was perfectly adequate. I am glad we didn't spend an extra $30 to stay in one of the other just as cruddy looking hotels. It actually had a TON of TV channels, the last nicer hotel I stayed in literally had about 20, this hotel had 60+. SO if you are just looking for a place...

“Call the hotel to make sure you have a room. In this trip it was sad to see many travelers looking for rooms after 8 pm and there were NO vacancies. For an end of September trip, ALL the places we stayed at were sold out! I learned this on this trip: online booking sells MORE rooms than available because there is a lag time between when all rooms are sold out and real time removing the hotel from the site. Since this inn was on the way to Bryce, we stopped by to ensure that our room was available.”
