I made my reservations through the website and used points so I reserved a king suite since the amount of points for the suite was the same as a regular room. I was not at all disappointed. Our room was large and very clean. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. Wii fi was very good - no problems. Breakfast was average. A good overnight stay.
Empty parking lot. Property looked clean and was quiet but the front desk clerk was a lot less than welcoming. I don't need to be pampered, but there's a big difference between "I need your drivers' license and credit card" and "May I please see your drivers' license and credit card." The entire interaction was difficult and stressful. I'd rather sleep in my car!
This property was very dirty and unkept. The front desk staff was not knowledgeable about the property and did not get off of the front desk chair to answer questions. Instead the answers were "I don't know or we are out" I was afraid to take my shoes off in the hotel room and the room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The front desk response was " we are getting the carpets cleaned this week". All that did was bring the dirt to the surface of the carpet. The location is terrible to get in and out of due to traffic and the route from the hotel to get onto University Pkwy. Choice Hotels needs to rethink to have this hotel as one of their locations. What hotel does not offer coffee 24/7 or have extra coffee packets available for your room. There were no pool towels in the pool area. The front desk response was "they must be in the laundry. The wifi is a joke. Plan on finding an open wifi from the apartments next store.…
Nice, clean hotel that is good for dogs and within walking distance of a Walmart and restaurants. The staff here was so accommodating and kind! I’ve been to many comfort inns and this was one of the nicest and cleanest
So usually the first floor is a prime location. Not in this hotel. We stayed in room 112 you could hear everything that went on in the lobby, the pool, the breakfast area and outside. This should be a utility closet. Talk about no sleep. Then the light bulbs burnt out in the lamp so I went to the front desk and they asked me what kind of bulb do I need seriously this is their hotel shouldn't they know. Back to the room there is no trash can in the room that has the shower and toilet so we moved one into there making it where there wasnt one in another location that needs one. I will not stay here again. I need sleep so i can be a safe driver. If reading this review and want to know about how clean everything was dont look to close. Where the towel is hung on the back of the bathroom door was a black pubic hair. Also at the main desk the doorway is grimy. If your going to clean clean everything and do it correctly. I seriously doubt this place would pass a white glove inspection…
Property is in very good shape. Clean room and comfortable bed. Plenty of parking spot. Very quiet during the night. Friendly front desk staff. Close to food and gas stations. Good stop before Salt Lake City.
If you go outside of the hotel, you will get a beautiful view of a beautiful lake! There is a Krispy Kreme in the same driveway and a Walmart down the street! Beautiful place! We unfortunately travelled when the COVID kept a lot of places from serving breakfast, so hopefully, we will get a chance to see what the hotels serve when at their best.
Bed was good, bathroom great. The breakfast was a sack with muffin, bar a nd orange juice. The COVID cautions were implemented and followed. The WIFI was fast and then almost stopped. Obviously the router was allowing one streamer to rend all others basically to be handicapped. This is a security 101 problem to allow one to user to block all others. I give a 5 becuuse many hotels have this same problem. They have cheap routers.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. I was traveling with a cat and need a pet-friendly hotel. They were accommodating of that. There are many restaurants down the street, so I had options without having to drive a lot. The price was fair for what I received. I would likely stay here again.
This hotel has a free hot breakfast buffet. I could not eat the eggs, the scrambled eggs smell strange. They also have meat, cereal, yogurts, pastries. You can hear people in the halls. The management is very nice, beds and showers are good. Nice pool.
