We recently had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at the XbarH Lodge. What a lovely experience! As they advertise, this is not a bed and breakfast. Of course it is the bed, but it is so much more! First are the hosts JC and Michele. They are wonderful hosts and will make you feel instantly at home. They have...

Four of us rented the whole lodge when we volunteered at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in October 2016. We each had our own room and bathroom. I loved the solid pine walls and immaculate rooms. The large dining room has a large table. There is plenty of seating and it would be a perfect place for family reunions. The kitchen...

Perfectly situated between Zion and Bryce Canyons - and wonderfully convenient to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Michele and JC could not be warmer or more helpful. Spectacular setting, beautiful house, and an incredible amount of common space for guests. The place is immaculate, despite the desert sands and the constant comings and goings of various pets. (Our sleepover dog from...

I stayed at XbarH Lodge while volunteering at Best Friends. The place is beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Michelle and JC are some of the nicest people I've met. I had my dog with me on my travels and they treated her like family! We were both sad to leave, but we look forward to a return visit.

My husband & I stayed in the Cliffside Room which was comfortably appointed with a wonderful view. Michele and JC are, hands down, the best hosts we've ever encountered and we appreciate their knowledge of the area and of Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. It was a pleasure to return to their lodge after full days of volunteering. It was also...

We recently spent a nice long weekend at the XbarH Lodge. It is everything that we had read on TripAdvisor and more. The Lodge was wonderful, our hosts Michelle and JC were warm, friendly, very well versed on the history of the area and proud supporters of Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. We enjoyed their company as they shared the history...

We have stayed many places with our dog. But, I must say, this place is amazing. From the moment we arrived, our dog was welcomed and embraced. Fresh water was waiting both in the common kitchen area and our private bedroom for him. Where else is a clean, plush dog bed waiting for your dog? Dogs are welcome in the...

We recently lost our dog, Bubbles(130 lb Dobie) and having gone through the grieving process, decided it was time for a new dog. We support Best Friends Animal Rescue in Kanab Utah, so we decided to visit. The cabins there were fully booked (glad) and they recommended XbarH lodge in nearby Orderville so we rang them up. Spoke with Michelle...

One of the reason why we chose to stay at XBarH Lodge was because they are pet friendly and what sealed the deal for us was the fact that our dog could stay with Michelle and JC while we fulfilled our volunteer shifts at Best Friends. Once we got there we realized that we were home away from home. The...

My husband and I stayed at the Cliffside room in the XBarH lodge for three days in August 2015 and were VERY pleased with our accommodations. Hosts Michelle and JC have created a beautifully appointed space and are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and happy to help with whatever they can. I would unreservedly recommend the lodge for anyone...
