Very pleasant staff and Motel. Did not serve free breakfast or discount at restaurant. Enjoyed decor of rooms, very woodsy. Proximity to Bryce and Zion good to enjoy both National Parks and surrounding area. Would definitley stay there again!

Thank you so much for the 5 star review! I enjoy happy people like you more than I can express! I'm glad you appreciate the work we have put into the hotel rooms. As for breakfast, we offer far lower prices than other Zion hotels of our quality in exchange. I don't manage the restaurant, but you can review that...

The staff was very friendly. The rooms are wonderful. There were 2 adults and 2 children. The room was spacious and was one of the nicest we have stayed in. The places to eat are very limited. No free breakfast. We arrived late, everything was closed except the restaurant attached to the hotel and frankly, it was very pricey for...

Thank you so much for your 5 star review and I am thrilled you liked your room! Saying the room was one of the nicest you have stayed in is a wonderful compliment. You have made my day! Note for future guests: The price is actually very good if you compare it to other Zion hotels. Tanya Milligan Proud Owner...

This Best Western is an older hotel approx. 15 miles from the east entrance to Zion National Park. The room was comfy and very clean. There is as small back porch to sit outside and enjoy a cocktail and a smoke. Nice courtyard area just off the porch. There is an executive golf course right outside my door. The restaurant...

I am glad you liked the hotel. The restaurant can be reviewed under Restaurants on Trip Advisor. The hotel and restaurant are managed separately. The outdoor swimming pool closed too early. A time change area is near the hotel, so we lost an hour when checking-in to the hotel. Our children were not able to swim due to the time change and the pool's early closing.

As a hotel owner or manager we have to think of all our guests, and not just on family that arrives late. It's hard to juggle the needs of everyone, that's why hotels have standard hours for things. It's not that we care if the pool is open 24 hours a day or not, but guests do. Many go to...

We had a great stay at the Thunderbird. Party of four traveling through southern Utah, staying in two rooms. WiFi was not the greatest for my T-mobile iPhone 5, but I could have used the lobby pc if necessary. The pool was a bit chilly, but also very refreshing and towels were a hot commodity, ie in short supply, at...

Thank you so much for your 5 star review! You are a joy! I'm glad your group using 2 rooms had a good stay. The pool can be cool if it's been a cloudy day since it is mostly solar heated. As for towels on short supply, darn it! We will have to attend to that better. I'm so sorry!...

Wet carpet, humid room, room smells, AC barely works to keep room cold. Moved us to another only to find similar issues. For $130 a night, the accommodations and service is a one star. We requested a reduce rate and were given a 10 dollar discount. Told front desk, rate is un-acceptable and we would like to check out and...

First I am so very sorry about the carpet. Our maintained men have always done our carpets and do them in the off season, but a carpet company was doing the gift shop and they convinced us the rooms would be fine by checkin. On top of that we had a thunderstorm which made the area humid. We learned an...

This is a typical Best Western, but its location, close to Zion National Park, makes it a very attractive place to stay. Rooms were large, beds were comfortable, but there was nothing outstanding about it. This is one of the few Best Western locations that does not offer free breakfast, however, there is a restaurant and gift shop on site.

You might think being 30 minutes from the Zion visitor center would be a bad thing. But, you get to enter the park from the east entrance and see the incredible beauty of the park that most people don't get to see.

I agree with you. There is so much to do on the east side of the park. The scenery is gorgeous and there are many unmarked hikes and petroglyphs as well. Great rooms in a great location. Nice and quiet with well kept pool/hot tub area. Looks dumpy from the outside, but the rooms really are nice. The only bad part of the whole stay was the one dinner we had at the hotel restaurant. The service was extremely slow and the food was average. Great place to stay overall.
