I booked this for a last minute solo get-a-away and was a little worried when I saw the scary reviews from years past...but I would like to second the motion that the new management is excellent and doing a great job! The pool was sparkly clear, the bathroom were clean and fresh smelling. The check in and gift shop was...

We went for a weekend stay and the grounds were well taken care of and the pool was very clean. They had life jackets and pool toys for our use with no charge. They had complimentary coffee each morning. The staff were all very attentive and nice. They took pride in keeping the campground well groomed and clean. The kids...

Very nice campground. Wendy and Tim, the new owners, have done a fantastic job of making this campground seem like new. The bathrooms are spotless, the spaces roomy - even the back-ins which are very long, wide and at an angle that is very easy to back into. The owners treat you like a real guest. Wendy even acts like...

Beautiful park, great, friendly owners, spotless bathrooms, strong Wi-Fi -- close to town, lakes, Flaming Gorge, Sheep Creek Loop, swim beach and Red Canyon. We are planning to stay here again, only longer next time. :)

Travelled with 32 ft. camper with slides and tow vehicle and had spot # C5. All of the C and D spots are back-in and the road is wide enough to not have any trouble getting in. Spots are plenty big enough and have grills and small fire pits. I think the wifi and tv was fine. I believe this...

This campground was on our itinerary on a recent trip out west. While at a campground in South Dakota we met a couple who had stayed there. They recommended we not go to this campground because the office manager was rude and the bathrooms were filthy. It took me two phone calls and several emails to get my reservation cancelled....

It is not close to the gorge (6 miles away) and the 4 tent sites do not have any trees!!! there were other sites with trees but the manager said they are getting it ready... what, I don't know for, as it's prime season, why not give it to your good customers! also the 4 sites are right next to...

I have grown up going to my fair share of campgrounds. This was the worst. The management is MEAN, the bathrooms needed a more frequent cleaning (I get it, I'm camping, but I also didn't feel like I could shower, despite that I paid extra for that ability by staying in a KOA) and people didn't shut up until midnight...

This campground is okay for a couple days. If you need WiFi, this is not the place for you. We asked prior to booking if the WiFi was reliable at the campground. We explained we need to work from our trailer during the week. They told us yes. We got here and was told the WiFi was having problems. We...

KOA campgrounds seem to universally attempt to make camping a pleasant experience. The one at Flaming Gorge does not have a rec room as some do, but the laundry is large, and all the machines function (which is not always the case in a campground or rv park), the bathrooms & showers are spotless. There is a small & well-kept...
