Escalante is a great base for hikes in Grand Staircase. The manager can provide information on local hikes and current status of roads and slot canyons. The RV spots are pretty close gravel slots. Slots are not very level in x or y direction, but the price is very reasonable. Clean showers and laundry on site.

I'd arranged months ahead for one of the two deluxe sites for our week-long stay in Escalante in our travel trailer. We'd never been to this area before, and were completely blown away! The park is on the west edge of town. Check-in was quick and friendly. We were very happy with our site -- we had plenty of space,...

The guy at the front desk was helpful. The restrooms were clean. There wasn't an area to sit around a fire pit at night. We were traveling with others and drove out of a pen towards Devils Garden on BLM land to build a fire and make s'mores. If you just want a place to sleep and don't mind just...

Stayed four nights in one of the newer cabins. Very clean and comfortable as were the shower and laundry facilities and the picnic and campfire areas. The innkeepers and entire staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful with information and local directions. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to this scenic...

Stayed here for one night as Escalante was a good midpoint between our time in Kodachrome/Bryce and making the scenic drive up Route 12. We camped in a small RV; sites are level, fully equipped, and wifi works great even at the back end of the campground. The man staffing the office while we were there was super friendly and...

Escalante itself is super tiny, and the campground itself isn’t very big. The tent sites were quite large however, which was really nice as we had plenty of room for all our stuff. The picnic table areas also had charcoal grills if you want to use them for cooking. The bathroom/shower rooms are only available with a key, so be...

Stayed 2 nights in a travel trailer with 30 amp electrical service in September 2016. Site had water and sewer. Some sites are wooded, Some are not. They are close but not too close. $30/night Very good electrical and water hookups. Picnic table on site, too. WiFi was awesome. Strong signal in the middle of the campground. Had good cell...

Stayed at the Canyons of Escalante RV park in July of 2016 on an epic road trip through the 4 corners states. I booked a "Large Cabin" which has a queen bed, a sofa bed, a table and a bathroom!! Check in was simple, the cabin was competitively priced, the campground was very well taken care of and very clean!...

Quite nice. Friendly staff. Good Wifi. Simple place. The best part are the newly renovated and spacious showers - really wonderful! In-town RV park, so cafes, shops and tour agencies are in walking distance. The organic grocery store is fantastic.

A nice and quiet RV Camp. Clean restrooms, laundry, good wifi. Little shade despite a few trees however. Paid $53. Level pull through sites. Tents and cabins. On the border of town. Check out the organic grocery.
