Upon arrival to Escalante, where we had an unpleasant conversation with the owner of "B & B", ( 280 W Main Street), we decided, despite the late hour, to look for another place to sleep. On the same street, we noticed "Prospector Inn" where we easily got 3 rooms for our 3 couples And for better price. Friendly manager answered...

We stayed here in the offseason. The rates were very affordable and the lady at the desk was helpful and had a great sense of humor. The rooms were clean and we ended up staying an extra night because it was so convenient to the Hole In The Rock Road.

Don't think you can do better than this $69/night clean, convenient motel. Although probably a mid 20th c vintage, it's been remodeled, painted and well maintained. Restaurant across street with good food and down home atmosphere. As an access point to the GSE Nat'l monument, this is an honest bargain and a comfortable place to sleep. Internet, TV, fridge and...

I had to mention the fact that the toilet paper roll is way over on another side of the wall. Our friend, who is not 5 foot, had to get off of the toilet to reach the roll. We had a good laugh about that. The new owners found this place on Craigs' list of all places. The wife practically...

As with most motels near national parks, the room rates are overpriced. The management was nice and forthcoming, accepted a last minute reservation. There was nothing remarkable about our room, pretty basic and appeared clean.

We spent 4 nights at the Prospector in October and were pleasantly surprised. People we checked with before our trip recommended another motel as being "slightly better that the Prospector", but we were very happy with the Prospector. Starting with reservations, they were easy to deal with, laid back, and friendly. The rooms are standard motel type rooms, nothing special,...

Quiet little Inn in a quiet little town. The rooms were nothing special, but they are adequate and clean. The front desk is helpful, and the price is very reasonable. It an older motel and show a bit of wear, but it's well cared for and a good place to spend the night.

We booked this motel back in April 2016 for September 2016. I talked to them twice to confirm our reservation. Smoking room. We were told both times yes confirmed. On our way to the motel from Capital Reef, we got a call, but in the mountains didnt register on my phone until we were out and could receive reception. We...

Stopped on the way from Canada to Bryce Canyon. The location was good for next day early drive to Bryce Canyon. Very basic, plain spacious rooms. Breakfast was not included, and cost for 2 rooms was $156. In the morning we got coffee at the reception, surprisingly was better than in most motels.

We had planned stay at Bryce National Park but when we went to the park the fog was so heavy that you could not see anything so we decided to drive on toward Capitol Reef. We stopped at Prosepector Inn. It had low rates and had decent reviews. The rooms were clean and the management was friendly.
