Spacious cabin overlooking the Green Lake with excellent fishing. Cabin had all the amenities of home. Clean and comfy. Had a wood stove but we couldn't get it to work. Boats and bicycles to rent. Pond for the kids to fish in. Nice Restaurant on the premises. Went horseback riding with Debbie of the Red Canyon Lodge Stables. This is...

We booked this prior to travelling and the cabins are great, very luxurious and looked out over the Lake. We had the Alpine cabin and travelling down CO191 to get there we saw a lot of wildlife including an Eagle and Pronghorn antelope. The whole area is very scenic and the nearby WY44 and WY 218 are worth the drive...

Thank you for your review, we certainly appreciate the time you took to write such a great review! You are right that outside of coffee cups, the Alpine Cabins do not have cooking utensils or cutlery. BUT, any of that is provided upon request. :) We do have cutlery is in the drawers of the Ponderosa Cabins, since they have...

The cabins are nice, the restaurant and gift shop offer great service and even better food. Try the horseback riding, which is great for beginners. Fishing, sightseeing and hiking are right there, and the Flaming Gorge is just a short drive away. It's an outdoor oasis that I can't recommend enough!

We loved this abode along a road trip that was more cold than warm... coming from flaming gorge in a a snowy storm, we were so delighted with the comfort of this small little community of people and a wonderful cabin to experience the storm in. The lodge was very welcoming but remember in Ut, you must purchase food with...

We do the loop from Rock Springs every year. The ability to sit among the pines , eating your meal surrounded by hundreds of hummingbirds flitting around is WONDERFUL! Add to that, the food is good, the scenery is gorgeous, and you have hummingbirds CLOSE (like right between you and your menu-LOVED IT!) well it just doesn't get any better...

Thank you! What a great description of your deck experience! We are just as tickled as you were watching people experience our 'hummer's' for the first time! We are happy you enjoyed your time with us and look forward to your return!

We had a great time again this year! It's so beautiful! There were 10 of us, so we stayed in 2 of the cabins that were attached. Everything was nice and clean! We always wish we could stay one more day. We stayed here last year as well, and the updates in the cabins since then are nice. Thank you...

Another trip to Red Canyon! First of all, a correction to my last review entry: Red canyon is located at an elevation of over 7400 feet above sea level. I had a muffed keystroke in an earlier review. Mia culpa! Bottom line? After several years of visits, we remain fully in love with Red Canyon and its staff! Great cabins...

No matter which way you drive to get to Red Canyon, the experience is one of the best in the country. Great roads/great scenery... two of the most impressive geologic anticlines in the USA! Rustic but modern and clean cabins. The cabins are amongst trees and have a nice view over the lake.
