I have been meaning to leave a review for Red Canyon for a while now. We stay here a couple times a year every year in the winter months. Part of me does not want to review, as I want to keep it my little secret. In the winter, the forest is so quiet and serene. Snow showing and cross...

We visited late in the season, so some of the activities like horseback riding weren't available, and the restaurant was closed during the week. Absolutely beautiful location with hiking trails around the on-property lake, and through the woods. Our kids (10,6) and dog had a blast. We stayed in a ponderosa cabin, which all face the lake and have private...

Thank you for taking the time to review us and as much as we wish we could keep all of our services open year round, we currently don't have the traffic to do so. Plus the horses like to take their winter break in warmer climates! We will look into the kitchen stocking situation as there should be four place...

We stayed 6 nights in a cabin and was very pleased with everything. A good value compared to other places in area to stay. Outstanding staff with a "how can we make your stay with us more enjoyable" attitude. The best restaurant in the area with views of deer and a lake. *the only internet service is in the restaurant;...

Cabin was just fine and well laid out. Dining was good and service at front desk was very adequate. The location suited us perfectly for the short drive to the Red Canyon Overlook and Visitors Centre.

My husband and I had a wonderful Sunday enjoying the amenities that Red Canyon Lodge has to offer. We were greeted with a smile on a very early morning by Kirsten at the gift shop who sent us to Debbie and Tom, the Wranglers that would take us horseback riding. Tom was full of fun facts about the area and...

We stopped here for lunch yesterday, and I must say it was excellent. I ordered the garden vegetable pasta, and I was very pleased. My guys were also happy with theirs. We had dessert, too, and the bill wasn't too outrageous. The portions were quite large, and I couldn't even finish mine.

If you're in the area, there are very few hotels choices, and this is probably the best. It's located away from town, and you're in the trees. The cabins are pretty basic, but they're quaint. The property is well maintained. Fire wood is provided for your cabin's fire pit. There is even a restaurant on site (the food is not...

We stayed here for two nights in July at this lovely cabin overlooking a man-made lake. It was so peaceful and you could walk to the Overlook for the beautiful Flaming Gorge Reservoir. The management was very good and the cabins were up to date and very comfortable. They have a restaurant on the property and it's fun to see...

Spacious cabin overlooking the Green Lake with excellent fishing. Cabin had all the amenities of home. Clean and comfy. Had a wood stove but we couldn't get it to work. Boats and bicycles to rent. We booked this prior to travelling and the cabins are great, very luxurious and looked out over the Lake. We had the Alpine cabin and travelling down CO191 to get there we saw a lot of wildlife including an Eagle and Pronghorn antelope. The whole area is very scenic and the nearby WY44 and WY 218 are worth the drive...

Thank you for your review, we certainly appreciate the time you took to write such a great review! You are right that outside of coffee cups, the Alpine Cabins do not have cooking utensils or cutlery. BUT, any of that is provided upon request. :) We do have cutlery is in the drawers of the Ponderosa Cabins, since they have...
