The Budget Motel is a small, well-organized, and family-owned motel in the leisurely town of Delta, Utah. We serve complimentary continental breakfast with cereal, milk, coffee, tea, muffins, bread, fruits, juice, and of course, We've recently added a new ice machine to our Property, and introduced a washer and dryer for guest use. We're located close to quite a few restaurants, including the reputed Zapata's Mexican, as well as a nearby McDonald's. Passing through town on our 8 state road trip, we opted for the Budget Motel. Mayur, the manager, was helpful and friendly.
Yes, the room was a bit small and the furniture was mismatched, but the room was so clean! No artificial fragrance was used in the air or little if any was used on the bedding and towels. They provided more towels than any of the large chain hotels. The hotel was just off the main road and quiet.
The water pressure was surprising. In large chain hotels the shower has little flow. Budet Motel's water pressure reminded me a bit of my pressure washer. :) An adjustment to the flow was all it took to bring it down.
Ours was a positive experience. We would stay there again.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a hello. ! I was checked in right away and how clean the Budget Motel is ! The bed was excellent and the A/C kept the room very cool. This is a Independent motel and it is 5 Stars and would highly recommend. Thanks Mayur for the great stay !

The Budget Motel is definitely a one-star property and is inexpensive, but it offers a reasonably good value for its low price.
The property is family-run and the lobby is about one would expect from a one-star hotel - small, non-descript, and not fancy. However, the service was extremely friendly and helpful. Although our reservation - which was made ahead of time directly via phone call to the property - was somehow lost, the person who took our reservation the week earlier was at the property and we were quickly booked into the room.
The room was clean on all accounts, but nothing fancy. The TV worked, the AC worked, the water ran hot and cold (unlik other budget-conscious properties we have stayed at), and the bathroom area was neat and clean and tidy with plentiful towels. There were many little items here and there that didn't work or weren't in top shape - burned out light bulbs, broken/ripped light shade on one light, a crack in the bathroom wall where the shower was seated into the wall, hard-water deposits in the toilet bowl, a creaking floor joint - but for the price and the one-star rating, these things could be overlooked.
We stayed in a second-story room. Despite the heat of the summer, the AC unit took care of the heat in about 30 minutes. The TV had more stations than one would expect from a budget motel. The room was also extremely quiet. All in all, we had a restful night's sleep ... and definitely a stay worth the value of the price we paid.
Additional tips:
1. The Budget Motel accepts AAA. It will save you about 10% on the reservation.
2. Ask for an upstairs room if one is available. The floor in our room creaked and I am certain it was heard into the room beneath us on the first floor.
3. If you plan to arrive after 8PM, be sure to note that when making your reservation. Delta itself starts closing up around 9PM and the hotel is no exception. You may also want to follow-up on your reservation to make sure it was actually booked and annotated.
4. If you left your amenities (e.g. toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream, etc.), the lobby has the items for sale at somewhat inflated "convenience" prices. If you forgot such things, the better bet is to go the grocery store located about 150 yards west of the property.
5. The Budget Motel is located about a half-black south of Main Street at 350 East. Be sure to look closely as you are traveling on Main Street and it should get you there.
6. The Budget Motel is also located about 50 yards east of a McDonald's - handy for breakfast or a snack - and within about 150 yards east of a Subway sandwich store (which starts locking up promptly at 8:45PM).
7. If you are looking for a quick dip in a swimming pool after a hot day, this property is not for you.
8. Cell phone reception can be "iffy" at times. Being in Delta, this problem is NOT an exclusive problem associated with the Budget Motel.

Here’s the email I sent the health inspector: Hi Richard- I may need to email a few times to make sure all the photos and videos come through. What you will see: Mold in bathroom Dirty bathroom Cracks, holes, exposed drywall. A window that never closes Water damage - bubbling paint Dirty walls and the towels I used to wipe the walls in the bathroom and next to the bed. Pubic hair, dirt, and bugs in the bed skirts. Damaged furniture Dirty chair. Possible blood on the wall in the bathroom. Shower/tub unit’s caulk has failed and is separated from the wall and the mold is growing in that as well. Shower head is also not caulked to the unit. *the owner refuses to give me my money back* I did not stay! I got outta there as soon as I could secure another room at another hotel.

We found the Budget Motel in Delta to be way below par. Smelly dirty carpets, proprietor's kids running around and crying, dirty windows with sticky locks, dismal reception and hall area, ice machine didn't work. The price was rock bottom, $35. for one night, but we chose Budget because it had a AAA recommendation. Why I'll never know. There is a nice cozy looking place across the street and a couple more down the main street. So if you are there for rockhounding or whatever, no need to book in advance.

budget motel correctly describes this place. room was nicer than you'd expect for the price (we paid about $50 for one night, two people plus a dog): fridge, desk, chairs, etc. Clean, but smelled a little funky.
front desk guy was a little weird -- I found him offputting. And if we were going to get in late, definitely call ahead. Seemed like when he went to bed, he just put out a hand written note saying the motel was booked. Which it definitely wasn't.
while we don't expect any kind of great lodging in delta ut, we will probably try somewhere else on our next trip thru ...

Room was clean and quiet, A/C worked well Manager was very helpful, e.g. made a reservation for us a a local restaurant without being asked. No swimming pool or rrestaurant on site but a good mexican restaurant in walking distance. McDonalds one block away. Would stay here again.

I got an opportunity to stay at this motel twice within a weeks time. I made a reservation the first time due to the large numbers of construction workers in the area. Most of the motel was filled with long term construction workers. Very friendly staff. Had everything needed for the usual motel stay. Clean and in the process of upgrading the place since the new current owners are in the process of buying the place. The first night I was on the first floor next to the stairs so it was a bit noisy until 10 pm. Construction workers tend to wear boots! The second time I stayed there I had no reservations but the owners obliged and put me in a room that they were in the process of upgrading. No other rooms in Delta except for ones I would not even let my dog stay in. I was on a motorcycle and didn't want to face driving in the sandstorm between Delta and Nevada border. The road had been closed due to a head on collision. Both times I was pleased with the rooms, cleanliness, cost and friendly staff. I Would not hesitate to take my family there. The chain motel I have stayed at in Delta on previous visits would not have gotten this positive a recommendation.

We had stayed at this motel 2 years ago and while it was nice it was in need of a few repairs. We found that a new owner had taken over and was putting money into upgrading the property. We noticed new carpet, big flat screen TV refrigerator and microwave with Wi-Fi. Very very nice room guiet and well worth the money.

We visited delta again this year expecting nothing more than average like last year from the budget Inn. We were completely surprised by the changes made. The new management has really stepped up their game. The amenities that are provided for the price you pay is ridiculous. I had to ask if it was the same place or if I was in the wrong place. The staff is amazingly friendly and have convinced me to stay at the Budget Inn every time I am in delta. I had a wonderful experience. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

I remember there were steps to the front door approach which were difficult for me to pull my bags up. I don't know about the grab bars or dogs. Sorry. You will have to call them directly to find out.
There are more places to choose from in the Delta area.
