Upon arrival, I waited in reception for a while until a grim faced receptionist arrived. Not a smile in sight, gave me my key and off I went to our room. The room was clean which was a bonus. I can't see how they call this place a resort. There are rooms, and swimming pool, RV park and a restaurant....

I wish I had read the reviews on Trip Advisor before I booked this room. Instead, I relied on the description on the Bryce Canyon Resort website. The website and my confirmation both stated "Beautifully remodeled motel room with modern furnishings." The furnishings were old, outdated and worn. The bathroom was filthy and outdated. When I told the manager I...

The Pros + close to the park entry, restaurants and shops in the area + it's not the cleanest, though okay as the hotel is not the newest The Cons - overpriced for what it is - thin walls - heating didn't work reliably (it run for 10 minutes)

Our room in an old smaller one-storey building with newer partial-log siding, had a low sagging ceiling, uneven sloping floor, under the sink and vanity the carpet seemed to be covering nothing but a big hole, and a cup fungus was growing from the bathroom baseboard. Yes, it's close to Bryce Canyon, but at least one other place nearby was...

Paid $140, got creeped out by the place. At the next door restaurant for breakfast, we were treated like trash because my husband asked for a warm cup of tea instead of a tepid one, then we were ignored after that. Stay clear of this place!!!! It is a sinking ship.

We paid $25 more than a stay at the Bryce Canyon Lodge -- and our room smelled bad, was dark, the beds were uncomfortable. We only stayed one night because we found other accommodations that were nicer and less expensive.

It calls Resort, but it's not: rooms, facilities, quality and service are similar to motel. Overpriced, perhaps, because it's just 3 miles from entrance to Bryce canyon NP. Internet works poorly. Beds and mattresses are uncomfortable.

Last week we pulled up to this hotel and the laughter began. Our mistake for not checking trip advisor first before booking three rooms for our group there. Our room overlooked a huge white propane tank and a giant puddle that was in the dirt parking lot. Then we got a look at the room--early 70's decor....chairs upholstered in dirty...

I'm giving this 5 starts but with a caveat: This is no Four Seasons, but a fun and nice place to stay. The folks who wrote negative reviews clearly didn't know what to expect when they rolled into town. You are in the middle of NOWHERE. You are surrounded by nature and beauty. People don't go to Bryce to sit...

This rustic resort offers the charm of yesteryear. Escape from the hustle and bustle of the hi-tech world and return to a time when Cowboys road horses through the outback of the Wild West.Visit the hiding places of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid or hike the hoodoos of Byrce Canyon. No matter what your visit, leave your cares at the door and escape to this charming inn. After a long day, saddle up to the bar and ask the bartender for any icy cold beer to wash away the dust. Or enjoy a thick juicy steak at the Cowboy Ranch House Restaurant. ... more   less
