There aren't many places to stay in Boulder, UT, and this may be the best accommodation that doesn't break the bank. As another reviewer wrote, it's nicer than the outside appearance would suggest. The proprietor was nice, and froze our "Blue Ice" overnight. Our only complaint is the bed was "springy" -- when one of us moved, the bed bounced...

What can I say, we loved this place, the location is excellent ... Boulder is a really sleepy town in the middle of nowhere on Route 12 (Scenic Byway), incredible scenery all around it, and a nice quiet out of the way stop in the middle of a wonderful vacation!

This small operation in the tiny town of Boulder had excellent service and warm people in the heart of the amazing scenery surrounding the town. The proprietor was very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice selection of items in the gift shop.

This is a clean and simple little motel located in one of the remotest areas in the US. The hostess was wonderfully helpful and friendly and her family has been in this town for generations. The motel is also extremely well priced. That said, they do not have wi-fi. Let's repeat this, no free wi-fi available anywhere in this small...

I am glad we stopped here, the hostess was great about informing us about the area, and if we hadn't stopped we would have bypassed amazing sites that were not listed on our maps. Poles Place also has deep roots in the community and the owner is very knowledgable about the area, not to mention it's right across from a...

A very quiet and quaint little gem in the middle of nowhere. Sorry, Boulder residents. This place is spotless and meticulously maintained by it's owner operator. Internet service or cable would have been nice to end a long day's drive, but there was something nice about no cell service, no internet, and no TV. Well, rabbit ears and three channels...

Clean, like when your mom is coming to visit clean. The bed had nice sheets with a high thread count and not threadbare. The shower had good pressure with no issues. The TV was almost unusable and there was no wifi. The room was just what we were looking for. Nice sized with an ac unit that worked perfect. Did...

Very clean place and cozy. Camille, who is the owner, was friendly and provided info about what there is to do in the area. There is no internet but on this trip that was fine for me as the motel grounds were pretty with flower and rock gardens everywhere. Nice small porch with chairs which provided for a nice place...

In this day and age I expect to find WiFi at any hotel, especially for $ 85 a night, but the owner said she'd rather that we didn't have internet, so we can enjoy our stay better. Well, it's not like the hotel is some kind of resort! Plain, clean rooms. The outside is quite charming. The Anasazi museum across...

The whole town of Boulder, UT is a bit of a throwback. It's a tiny tiny place in between remote locations. Pole's place, however, were happy to book ahead over the phone and sent us a brochure with advice on things to do in the area. The brochure also has some interesting stories about the history of the place, who...
