Loved the old fashioned ambiance and setting including a wonderful well marked and lit "trail" (narrow road) leading to the river and further. Quiet, pet friendly, clean and upgraded. Basic buffet breakfast, OK coffee. Hated the squishy pillows but beautiful, quiet setting would have compensated if there had only been air conditioning...not even a fan to stir the air! Liked...

While this lodge is not a five star facility in a bustling city, we could not have been happier that we stayed there. The lodge is an older, quaint facility in a super quiet location with wonderful friendly owners. From the smiling faces that greeted us when we arrived, to the quiet, leisurely atmosphere as we sat in lawn chairs...

Happy to have come across this place. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The bed was great! The front desk personnel were welcoming and helpful. There are some trails behind the lodge and you can walk all the way down to the San Juan River. It was peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast was simple, but the coffee was good and...

Would definitely stay here again, for the fantastic owners, the sense of quiet, and generally relaxed atmosphere. All makes the guest feel like staying in a family home. We had a top floor room which was good as you can hear the floor creaking a lot. Cosy bedrooms.

This older motel has plenty of character and a staff that is more than helpful in identifying local hiking and eating spots or adventures. The room was very clean, furnishings rather tired. Breakfast adequate, mostly store bought bread, cereal, yoghurt, etc. Breakfast room though was a treat replete with many reminders of when a trip thru Bluff meant an expedition...

It's a hoot to read the negative reviews of an establishment that we so enjoyed. Perhaps if we thought we were checking into a 5 star accommodation in Vegas we might have been disappointed. But we knew we were checking into a local hotel in tiny Bluff, Utah at a reasonable rate. Clean, rustic, with nice comfortable beds and good...

Want a warm and rustic southwest experience - stay here and take part in the morning conversations in the family like lobby over a variety of foods to start your day - and gain real insight to the prehistoric peoples of Butler Wash and Comb Ridge. Its a perfect "base camp" for daily outings in nearly every direction. I've met...

I had the feeling that the hotel, whose reception is very pleasant, just never got on the bandwagon of exceeding or even meeting a customers expectations. Give them the bare necessities. They won't be back. The room was not at all special, a bit worn, but not unexpected. The towels were the worst! So thin and rough they must've been...

This lodge is conveniently located to several attractions (Monument Valley, Valley of the Gods, Natural Bridge, Gooseneck State Park and more). The town is very small but offers several places to eat. It appears to be a family ran lodge and everyone was friendly and the room was very comfortable. There was a pool, strong/fast wifi, and breakfast. We thoroughly...

the rooms, lodge, surroundings were so quiet and in the setting of the mountains. We ate at the mexican restaurant across the street, which is another hidden treasure walking distance from the lodge! It also has a lovely pool under the stars. Plus a delightful little breakfast bar that opens at 7am
