We visited here for one night only and are seriously considering going back someday. It is so quiet and remote that you can feel all the stress leaving your body and mind in minutes after arrival. No wifi, no tv, toilet and shower in the separate building outside and other "lack of amenities " is a huge plus even for...

One night stop-over and delighted with this hidden away retreat. Perfect location when travelling through cowboy country. Very personal and friendly service by Owner. Delivered great bbq meal and we enjoyed sitting around log fire. Although cabins are basic they are cosy and tastefully done. Definitely would recommend.

where we live we are used to deer and an occasional turkey and a few bunnies wandering around but it really has a great feel when you're in your cabin here and you grow out on the large front lawn and see the animals come for water and to nibble the grass. The bathrooms are 30 feet away but very...

Bill is a great host and the cabins were wonderful. We had a fab family time. Nothing like a guided hike in the nearby mountains to visit old native american settlements ... And Bill's barbecue skills are a must !! The cabins are surrounded by wild life .. We had the visit of rabbits, mule deer, turkeys, chipmunks, hummingbirds .....

The owner failed to send me a confirmation via e-mail when I phoned in my reservation after learning about it at Trip Advisor. I was given a confirmation number which I planned to use to check in. In Logan, Utah, I became quite ill and was advised by my doctor in California to cancel the majority of my road trip...

I am sorry your trip for some reason did not workout. On the phone the day before you were to arrive you told me your car broke down and you would not be able to make it to Blanding Utah. You did make your reservation over the phone and you were sent an Email confirmation with our policies on cancellation...

This was my second time visiting Abajo Haven. Bill is a welcoming host and we enjoyed the quiet, cozy cabin. If you enjoy chicken and ribs you will definitely want to make arrangements to have dinner prepared one evening. It was one of the very best meals of our trip! We also enjoyed seeing some wild turkeys and mule deer...

This was such a nice experience. Bill, the host, brought us coffee every morning and one day took us on a car/hiking tour. He is knowledgeable about ancient Puebloans and was very helpful when asking about weather conditions, places to eat etc. He also had fire wood ready for us and even helped us with our first fire. The king-sized...

After the hussle of Moab, and the crowds at Arches, the Abajo Haven Guest Cabin was just what we needed. We enjoyed the very comfortable solar powered cabin. Our host, Bill, was very welcoming and for a reasonable fee, prepared a hearty BBQ dinner for us to eat at the picnic table just outside the cabin door. We sat in...

Abalone Haven is a little ways out of town but Bill is a very friendly host. He lent us an Internet card so that we could access our email and he rustled up a large plate of grilled chicken and ribs for our evening meal. Our cabin was spacious and the king size bed was quite comfortable. The only negative...

Bill is an honest, kind soul who keeps his cabins and his bathrooms in both impeccable working order and incredibly clean. We had tons of fun here, just lounging outside, hiking around the grounds and making hot dogs and s'mores using the fire pit. Our two days here were a highlight of our trip. We followed a slew of wild...

“Although not announced, Bill did mention he could provide us free wifi service. However, when you are in a place as peaceful and serene as this, who wants to be electronically connected???”

“There are three cabins, one divided into two units for a total of four units. They vary a bit in size and beds. We had two separate cabins. Both had a big bed for couples plus either one or two single kid beds. One was closer to the shared, detached bathroom. The only noise would come from fellow guests as the cabins are not near anything except Bill's house.”
