If this is a AAA approved motel I'll eat my hat. Yes the rooms are clean there is air-conditioning but the curtains are shredded and the furniture is from the early 60s. not retro cool, but retro crummy. Smelled like cigarette smoke. A big wind will blow the roof away, the ice machine is broken, and the outside would fit...

Booked on Orbitz. Arrived to fund a nightmare. A total garbage dump. Avoid at alllllll costs. Manager refused refund. Orbitz did nothing. Had to eat $70 and move on. In the top five worst motel experiences of my life.

We called at 6 am after driving across country and needed text. The owner gladly answered, and gave us an amazing deal!!! After asking if we could pay extra for a late check out, she gladly told us to sleep as long as we needed, and have the room for the day. The hospitality and kindness of the owner is...

Friendly staff and clean with comfortable beds. Coffee service, microwave and fridge, and generous on toiletries. Reminds you of how motels used to be! We actually stayed an extra night because we liked it so much.

The name is appropriate. This a classic 50s to 70s Motel. You get a key not a card key, and park in front of your room. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Lots of fresh towels. The room was wood panelled in real knotty pine and the a/c was a window shaker, but it worked. After a...

Firstly, BE WARNED THAT BLANDING IS IN A DRY COUNTY. That's right - you can't get booze anywhere, even a beer. If this is a priority, keep driving to Colorado. As for the accommodation? Comfy beds but very basic. Old bathroom, sticky carpet and the occasional roach. Free Wifi doesn't work. One roll of toilet tissue only, LOL. Not terrible...

My husband and I had made reservations online for a room for one night. We had verified the reservation prior to leaving. We were running about an hour later than we had planned, so I tried to call the motel to make them aware. I never could reach anyone. When we drove into Blanding, we saw the sign for our...

This place is retro (wood paneling, for instance, and other 50s fixtures), but gave it such cozy character! If you like that kind of thing, then you're in for a treat. We arrived very late at night, but the front desk worker was extremely friendly. The room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and the perfect refuge after a long day...
