My wife and I have the privilege of staying in similar price bracket hotels quite often. Some quick points for you:

Amangiri cannot be described in words. At first entry, the staff greets you with a nice cold face towelette and an ice cold lemonade with sage. They were all very friendly and gave us a very thorough tour of the facilities. Our mesa suite was...More
We spend three days here on our holidays in the USA after the visit to Mountain Valley and on our way to Bryce Canyon. It's just pure relaxation, the staff is kind and attentive, nothing is a problem, keeping an eye to all your needs....More
Probably the best boutique hotel in the U,S,
architecture, decor, activities and staff are first class.
Enjoy lake powell , antelope canyon and all the activities that surround the property.
Very expensive but worth it.
We Will be back

Hi, only just spotted this question so apologies for delay in responding.
The pool was heated but is outdoors. The only plunge pool I am aware of was the jacuzzi adjacent to the main pool and this was heated.

Our adult son joined us midway and one roll away bed was quite tight and not all that comfortable when it was placed on one side of the plush king bed that is on a raised concrete platform which is difficult to maneuver over. The other side of the bed/room has A very large built in wall whose multiple doors open to your fridge, refreshments and coffee apparatus on one end and a tv, entertainment equipment, at the other end. If a bed was placed there you wouldn't be able to open those doors and you would also struggle to get out of the bed to access the bathroom which is housed on the other side of the wall. Honestly it will be tight and the intimate shower is in an open room that affords no privacy which might be uncomfortable for the additional two people. If the other two beds are for children be aware that Amangiri is not geared for children.
Additionally Amangiri makes more $ from 4 people in two rooms.
