Our room smelled of mold. Cheap rate and good location. Outdoor pool. Bright side breakfast lacking with a lot of hoarding going on. A mall is nearby and plenty of places to eat all around. This is an older La Quinta property. If you are a La Quinta stayer I would highly recommend choosing a newer property. This location is...

I recommend this hotel if you just want to rest in the City of Tyler, accumlate points, continental breakfast and safety when traveling alone. The hotel staff is Friendly and you have a clean room. I stayed here twice when I drop my BABY off at Texas College. It is in a great location, down the street from the mall...

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms had a funny smell and looked like a hotel 6. Breakfast was just cereal and waffles. Paid $11 less the next day at a La Quinta that was 10 times better. This was the first time I wasnt satisfied with a La Quinta stay.

From check in to check out!! The night clerk was sitting down in the lobby watching TV when we walked in.. She seemed frustrated when I asked for an upper floor room. We got to the room all the way in the back of the hotel and there was no parking near the stairs to get to the room... so...

When making this reservation I wrongly assumed that ALL La Quinta hotels had been updated - WRONG. This place is old, dingy, smelly, and needs to be torn down and rebuilt. The staff is friendly but unfortunately have a decaying hotel to deal with. I will not stay here again for any price!

Rooms were dirty especially the restrooms. We had three rooms and one of the rooms had boogers all inside the shower curtain. The cleaning people wanted us to come bring them the shower curtain and change our own curt

I checked into this hotel 10/18 and stayed until 10/23, I found the people friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day, and always smelled fresh, I had a king bed frig., micro, giant flat screen tv, free wifi, and breakfast in the mornings, was not more than breads and coffee, cereal, fruit, and like that. I will stay...

Good location and clean rooms. However, if you like La Quinta and prefer something modern and nice, you should go to the new hotel that is located close to UT Tyler on Loop 323 East. Both hotels offer courtesy breakfast and Wi-Fi.

Room smelled like smoke, hot, dripping faucet, toilet did not flush well, not very clean at all. Could not switch rooms or hotels, everything was booked. Complained to the manager, but she did not refund my money.
